does it come with a rod holder?

The Nevada has velcro straps for a rod holder. Nevada is good for a lake or still water. In a river it can be unstable. If In moving water, get a round caddis

Does it come with a storage pouch? How much does it weigh (I'd like to strap it to my backpack when hiking to the lake)

It weighs 9.3 lb; very light, but doesn't come with a storage pouch. I routinely hike into ponds (with the tube fully inflated) by using either float tube straps or a padded shoulder strap from another sports bag that has clips which can easily attach to d-rings just behind the storage pouches. It is a nifty tube that performs very well. Don

We used a pump to inflate if i remember correctly. Have had this item a couple of years

Could an 11 year old boy use this?

I wouldn't put my kid in there, I have purchased three of these things because of the good price however two have ripped at the seat seam and one has popped. I weigh 165 and am well within I the rating of this tube. Also the return service with Amazon on this item was horrible.
