More of a light red. I wondered about that also when I bought it, but it’s more of a red than what the stock photo shows. Otherwise it looks exactly like what you see.

How easy is it to clean?

Didn't keep it long enough to need to clean, but it should've been pretty easy. A quick wipedown should do it.

Can this be used for vocals as well as guitars?

I would not think so, as the resonant frequencies and impedance through a guitar pickup a somewhat different than those through a microphone.
