Item was used and old
This device is normally perfect for the application. However I received a used item that was clearly previously installed, and had a date on the box showing it was four years old. The price was a full price and one of the highest online. I ordered for the quicker delivery. Eventually after sorting out who should pay for the return I sent it back for a refund. Bought the exact item in the new condition from another supplier at a lower price. It works perfectly. Just a bad luck transaction I guess.

DOES NOT WORK!
this unit look nice was new but after we had it installed and tested per the instruction manual it does not work properly. the test generator works when you push the test button, However the unit does not work! it does not start the generator automatically per the settings on the system. very frustrating. everything is set properly even spoke with Sensata tech support they confirm that this should fire the generator but it does not ????? it only works when I press the test button that is not helpful. I don't need another gen start button. I need a auto gen start to turn on when my batteries get to 11.4 v - I would not recommend this unit as clearly it is not doing the function it is designed to do

Beware voltage selector is set low by default
Well it may have worked fine but mine failed before use. I thought the jumper was set to 48V (did not have my glasses on when I looked and set dip switches) Apparently it comes set by default to 24V (off by one micro pin) and burned out the chip immediately. If it came set to highest setting it would just fail to work if connected to lower voltage, but unfortunately comes set to lower voltage, so self destructs if you miss a pin. Several hundred dollars wasted.

Bad product. Went out in 45 days
Bad product. Lasted 45 days n had to buy another one to keep moving. Now they say “window closed” 9/30/22. Poor product n no customer service
