I really enjoyed this book. I am an education major, and I had a lot of children’s book projects. This book was very interesting, and it came delivered in a timely manner. I used it on more than one occasion and the pages turn well and it’s the perfect size to hold it and present from it. The book is hard cover and it is very sturdy material, after having it for about a year there is no discoloration or wear and tear on the pages or cover. Cute story Read it to my granddaughter who is two years old. I think she would appreciate it a little more when she gets a little older, but it was a great story.

What's not to love about Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse!
What's not to love about Lilly? My daughter absolutely loved this book/story as a little girl and she can not wait to read it to her little girl someday. The story line has a way of teaching patience to little ones as they hold all of the excitement on the inside of wanting to share something important to them. It also teaches lessons on issue of having a rough day can be turned around and tomorrow will be another new day. You truly need to read this story because when you do, you'll find that you'll have a spring in your step just like Lilly and the only thing missing is the purple plastic purse. :)

This is a very nice book to read. It also has a good morale lesson in it especially for young children growing up. Grown ups may love to read this to their children.

Great Book for five to eight year olds!
Kevin Henkes at his best! Funny, witty, the reader is truly drawn into Lilly's world and her fascinating purple plastic purse! Fabulous drawings!
