Security experts recommend this type of option. I have two high quality monitors, and as is the current trend, peripherals are not included. I appreciate that. I want to have control of microphones and cameras. I can always unplug this camera (it's plug and play), and I can have the privacy screen switched over when not in use. It provides a great image, and is easy to use. Literally plug and play USB. Easily mounts on the top of my monitor. Easy to angle the camera however I want once it's mounted and stays put.

Love this PC Web Cam. I have a good mic and needed just a camera only and this exceeded my expectations. It takes clear and crisp videos. Easy to set up and use and is built very durable and looks nice too.

I specifically needed a webcam which does not include a built-in microphone because I already have a microphone which was included with my sound card. I do like the Privacy Cover which is a unique feature which can be a reliable means of preventing unwanted surveillance. This is an affordable webcam solution. It is certainly not the nicest one you could buy, but it should get the job done. This is rarely connected to my computer. I purchased it primarily for Zoom meetings and for skyping with girls. This camera is not compatible with Facial recognition (Windows Hello) which is a feature that I was hoping I would have the ability to use.

My little podcast camera. Love it! I record joeshottakes25 on YouTube and the camera works great. I really like the light around it, it helps when it’s a little dark in the room. Good buy for the price.

Finally a decent camera without a stupid built in microphone! I see people wondering why anyone would want something like this - and can only conclude they've never been conducting professional audio recording only to have the video conferencing app randomly switch their very high end audio over to the $0.25 built in condeser mic in their crappy Logitech or whatever web cam. Well it happens way too often and the best solution is to not give those apps any options but your preferred gear. That means finding a web cam without a mic built in. SO GLAD THIS EXISTS.

This product would be nicer if it gripped the edge of the monitor with a spring-action vise that swivels instead of just laying on top of it.

Great camera for conference calls. Easy setup and no issues.

Design is weird: can't actually attach to the monitor, just perches awkwardly on top and will slide or fall down at the slightest vibration near it. That also makes it very difficult to aim with any precision. Camera quality was not good - barely better than my even worse onboard laptop camera. But the deal-breaker was that I never knew whether it would work at all from one meeting to the next. I initially set it as my default camera until the 3rd time it decided not to work and I was scrambling to reset my default while I'm supposed to be making a presentation. After that I unplugged it for good, but by then it was of course too late to return it. Save your money.

I use a total of 5 Webcams for my LIVE Twitch Streams. Three of them are this model (I don't need sound on these 3) so the smaller size, less weight, lower price are greatly appreciated. How can you go wrong with 2592x1944 lines of resolution from a 5.0 Megapixel lens with a crisp, clear, colourful picture in it's 78 dgree widescreen field of view. The privacy lens is easy to slide across when not in use. The chord length of 5' is good along with the USB 2.0 connector. One thing I found out was that if you are using Non-Powered USB Hubs (I use 5) then you can NOT have more then 1 web cam/USB Hub, as they need more power. The autofocus feature is flawless, I use WIN 10 PRO OS and my pc recognized it right away (no software download needed). A PERFECT little webcam of 10/10! :-D

J'ai dû commandé 3 caméras pour en avoir 2 fonctionnelle, mais après un mois d'utilisation une des deux était déjà dysfonctionnelle, je ne pouvais donc pas la retourner via Amazon et j'ai contacter à de multiples reprise le service client avec la garantie annoncé de 1 ans, rien du tout ! Aucune réponse, la garantie est fausse et plus de la moitié des caméras que j'ai commandé sont dysfonctionnelles ! Le fait qu'il n'y ai pas de micro m'as attiré mais il y a beaucoup trop de défauts de fabrication ! Et surtout aucune garantie comme inscrit dans la boite (1 ans de garantie) ! Tout le service après vente est injoignable... Donc comme je suis bloqué avec je vous ne la recommande pas du tout... Défauts rencontrés : - Ne fonctionne juste pas - Fonctionne un temps aléatoire puis coupe, on doit alors relancer l'application qui utilise la caméra

For the price I was extremely shocked by the quality of the camera. Obviously the photo provided is taken with my phone, so the quality isn't as good as in real life looking at my monitor. But I can assure you it records at 2K and 1080. I was dubious at first because of the price point but my gosh I couldn't have been more wrong. The quality is really good considering it's price point, it actually does a lot better in dim lit room than I was expecting, I genuinely didn't think it would have been any use at all in a dim room, I was wrong again. Colours are pretty good and you have a few options in settings to change the colour, it's compatible with OBS and other streaming software. Amazingly simple to use, was plug and play install on my PC. I spent hours looking for a good, cheap webcam, and I sure as heck found it. If that's all you need, honestly, just buy this. Don't waste your time looking around like I did, this is good enough. Also comes with a privacy cover which slides across to cover the camera when not in use.
