So my use case may be a bit different than others. But I was looking for nice "looking" frames that were lightweight, glass free, with thin mat black borders to make the artwork I sell look nice without raiding the cost of the art. And for that use case, these are perfect! They are not fancy frames at all .. this is the bare minimum type frame that prioritizes looks and weight over everything else.. So if what you are looking for is a nice looking, glass free, lightweight frame that is cheap, as long as your expectations about quality and materials are aligned with the price point, I think you'll enjoy these frames! You can hang them horizontally or vertically, but they do not have the pull out on back for standing on their own. Very easy to place pictures inside he frame. Once inside, the size looks great between the picture and the rest of the frame (check photos for reference) and will be nice and sturdy as long as it's not hit/knocked down. I bought 5pk 11x14 and a 5pk 12x9 at first... Then purchased another 12pk of 12x9 and have to still order another 5pk of the 11x14... As long as the price stays low, these will be my go to frames for selling my artwork done on any form of paper. ( Edit: I forgot to mention that all the frames hanging on the wall in my photos, are hanging on tacks! While I don't recommend this for permanent use cases or if youre able to use something more sturdy, I've had them hanging for about a week now and they have stayed put)

I'd rate these frames 10-STARS if I could. They are very nice budget-friendly frames. They are exactly as described and they, quite honestly, exceeded my expectations. They look nice, they're very sturdy for plastic frames and I was super impressed by the superior quality of the frame's hardware. Each frame is individually wrapped. The careful packaging and plastic film over BOTH SIDES of the plexiglass helps prevent damage during transit so you can receive a damage free product. ***NOTE: ANYONE READING THIS, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FILM ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PLEXIGLASS BECAUSE IT SHOULD BE REMOVED.**** The film isn't really noticeable but IT IS THERE and not removing it could cause the pane to "appear" scratched or blemished when the blemishes are actually on the film instead of the pane of plexiglass. Also, be careful with it after removing the film because it can be easily scratched. I'd advise using a very soft microfiber cloth when it needs cleaning. *** Back to my review... although I wish the width of the opening in the mat was ⅜" smaller so my 5½" x 8½" sheets of art paper would slightly overlap the width of the mat opening, it does fit just at/inside the opening and it does overlap perfectly at the top and bottom of the mat opening. It definitely fits close enough that it still worked out perfectly for adding a nice presentation for when I gift my art. I drew the portrait of my friend to give her as a surprise gift and I spent MANY, MANY, HOURS shopping for custom mats and frames which CAN BE RATHER EXPENSIVE (cha-ching!)! In fact, one customized mat, and ONLY THE MAT, at a company that specializes in custom frames cost almost as much as the entire 5-pk of frames with mats included! (Thanks @American Flat for a really great deal and saving me money!) I knew the mat opening dimensions for these frames wouldn't be exactly what I'd been looking for but they were soooooo very close, extremely affordable, and as you can see in my review photos, my art fits pretty well and the fact that my 8½"x5½" art doesn't overlap the sides of the mat is barely noticeable. If it really bothered me, I could get or make another mat but I'm fine with it the way it is. It definitely solved my dilemma of finding a frame. I wish I'd found these before I spent many hours shopping around. It would've saved me so much time. At least I saved money buying these. Now I just hope the price doesn't increase so I can afford to buy more as needed. Although it's probably obvious (LOL!), I would like to add that I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST. It's just a hobby for me but now that I've discovered these frames, I may start giving some of my drawings a more professional look instead of keeping them hidden away in a binder. I may even make my own mats so I can use these 9"x12" frames to frame multiple 4"x6" or 3"x4" printed photos. To wrap up my review... if you need affordable frames that look good, at just over $2 each you can't go wrong with these! If by chance you need or want glass panes instead of plexiglass, this company sells frames with shatterproof glass but at a higher price. You may even be able to get glass panes cut to fit somewhere like at a craft store that makes custom frames. In my honest opinion, these frames are VERY MUCH worth the price! I have used these picture frames to enclose some large format prints I have made with my Canon PRO-100 series printer. The frames are an inexpensive way to hold the print. I have made a number of framed prints for friends and family and the frames do a nice job.

Purchased these for some new Papal Blessing Parchments I was giving away. The parchments fit nicely into them. Regarding Material: All plastic, sides and clear plastic front. The clear plastic front will scratch easily once protective film is removed (and it must be removed to see the item being framed). Fingerprints are easily left on clear plastic so be careful when handling. Regarding Quality: The frames aren’t amazing quality, but ok. They got the job done. Many frames had small shards of plastic floating around the inside from when the edge material was cut and fused together. MAKE SURE TO WIPE THIS OUT OF FRAME AND OFF BACKING BEFORE PEELING OFF PROTECTIVE FILM ON THE CLEAR PLASTIC or the static charge from peeing back the protective film will cause these futzies to stick to the clear plexiglass inside and out! Ease of use: Overall, the frames were easy to disassemble and reassemble when framing an object. The clips on the backer board were easy to move and easily reinserted when framing each item. They hold the back in place well and have a spring tension to them. …The pesky part is having to remove tiny shards of black plastic from inside and outside of the frame, and carefully peel off the protective film from the clear plexiglass front before re-inserting. Aesthetics of design: Overall good. The frames look like plastic, they don’t really look like real wood. I would’ve liked the edge material to have been a an inch or thicker, but for the price point I settled. In short, if you’re going for a thin modern design, this will fit the ticket. Longevity: They have kept their shape for 8 months now while hanging on the wall. Buy again? Yes, I’d buy this again given the price point and the unique size.
