It was just a simple disconnect and reconnect that lasted 2 seconds, but that's enough time for steam vr to say you unplugged your headset and make you restart without saving anything. I was surprised because this is a thick cord, but apparently the internal wires werent very strong/well connected. I feel like I wasted my money because it turns off oculus link every 20 minutes or so after the first 4 weeks. It's a great charger, just not a good link cable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been using this product constantly for about half a year. Here's my review *by L***R on December 25, 2022* As the title mentions, I have had this cable for about a year now, and it's been such a nice addition to my quest that I use PC VR now, more then the Standalone quest itself. So, first things first, this cable is definitely much better if you have some sort of set-up/pulley system allowing your cable to be suspended above the ground. Over this past year, the cable has had issues where the USB port bends from the amount of movement you have when in PC VR, whether you notice it or not. If you're not careful, that USB can bend and break, causing your cable to go kaput. So use a pulley system, or be careful with it if you're extending the cord out to it's full length, because it's really easy to forget your cord's plugged into a PC. The actual charging while you use it is actually freaking amazing. It's just as advertised, and I have been able to fall asleep in PC VR and through Oculus link, and stay in VR for over 8 HOURS. I have had no issues with the battery on my Quest 2 either when I use it on it's own. Any USB C cable works, by the way, I use a 6ft one that works great for when I want when more movement, especially since you have to plug the thing into ANOTHER plug, so invest in a really long USB C cord so you can have that flexibility. I think the overall biggest Con, is generally the fact you have to plug two things in for it to work. The actual USBC, and then the USB into the computer for the link. If you're not too big into cords in the way, it may be best to stick with Virtual Desktop or Oculus Air Link while charging your quest, so you only have one cord. An alternative to that, is to invest in the aforementioned pulley system, because it keeps wires nice and neat, out of the way, and saves the stress of pulling your cord too hard on your PC.
