Before I started my coffee shop I ordered syrups from several suppliers and lined them up side by side for taste tests. I challenge you to do the same - there is no comparison! Vanilla, almond, caramel all had superior flavor to the others. And the raspberry... oh my goodness!!! All the other brands (all organic) tasted weak and "raspberry-ish". Liquid planet actually just tastes like raspberries! I do wish they had more flavors, so I could go 100% with their flavors because the others just don't compare. It has an extremely strange smell and flavor. It smells like alcohol, similar to what butterscotch schnapps smells like, and has a very strange flavor and aftertaste. I thought that it may be better in coffee but it's not at all, it's actually slightly worse. I was hopeful and wanted to love this syrup because I LOVE caramel coffee and wanted to make it with an organic product at home but unfortunately I would not recommend this at all. I find that with one pump of flavor I drink more water, the problem was that the more popular type of syrups have this fake, bitter aftertaste that I just could not stand. This syrup is perfect! I've also purchased the vanilla flavor, and two pumps in a larger carton of greek yogurt is perfect, with a not too sweet flavor and you know just what's in it without all the artificial flavors.
