No, this is an oil based clay. It can be softened with heat but it will never harden like a Polymer clay. You might be looking for something more along the lines of Sculpey, which can be hardened by baking it in the oven.

Can a plaster mold be used with this clay

Yes. You can make a sculpture out of this clay and make a plaster mold off of it. I would spray the clay surface with some Krylon crystal clear acrylic spray first to seal the clay and help the clay to come out of the mold easier. also...try to remove the clay out of the new plaster mold while it is still warm. Don't let the clay become hard again and you will have an easier time of cleaning out the clay from the mold. Hope this helps. Greg
