Well made and high quality product as one would expect from this German manufacturer. The alarm is loud enough and has a clear time display.

An excellent little digital clock …. meant for daytime usage I reckon. I say excellent because it’s very well made and ….. surprisingly, for a Braun digital, (as compared to the BC10B I very recently purchased), the digits are bright enough to read even in a poorly lit room. The only downside I can see is that it is too tiny. Looks bigger in the photos on the Item page. Setting time was super easy, as it’s the same simple method of sliding the rear switch to Clock mode, and then pressing and holding + or - buttons. And finish by setting the slider to the middle neutral mode. Digits are certainly a tad brighter than on BC10B. Overall, highly recommended if you need to see only the time. Yes, please use a good Alkaline battery (AA); I specially purchased Energiser Max AA Alkaline cells for the clock - worth it, as Energiser says it’s leakproof. And do change it after a year or so, just to be on the safe side for an expensive clock (the battery pack says it has a shelf life of 12 years). Oh! Useless I paid more hoping that it is Braun so quality will be good but clock is tough to read. Bought it two months back and key issue is that the back light is soft so you see all the numbers all the time so it is tough to read the time. So if it is 11 am then you also see the back numbers so it reads like noon or 4 pm. See the photo below and guess the time. Cant find any return option also. It is design defect. Didnt expect from Braun

Looks good, but definitely not for heavy sleepers, won’t wake you up

Very dim display, no way to increase brightness, small in size, time cannot be seen unless you touch the clock (which then activates the backlit display for few seconds). Not even returnable. To summarise - Don't buy

good- not bright, bright would be bad if you were trying to keep the room dark good- not loud alarm so other person doesn't get disturbed

Over priced. Ordinary product that carries a big brand name.

I am delighted with this little clock. Yes, the instructions are useless; they are so tiny. However, the clock is pretty self-explanatory. I am an 80-year-old pensioner and I figured it out. Just hold your finger firmly on the little button to set the time or alarm and the numbers flash by. The numbers are as clear as a bell and at night if you wish to see the time, you just need to hold your finger or hand on the top of the clock and it lights up. Simple. It is worth every penny.

Eccellente. Dopo 4 sveglie, di cui 2 braun, rimandate indietro, per un motivo o per un altro (una analogica perdeva minuti, una con la luce si vedeva a malapena, un'altra faticosa da disinserire l'allarme il fine settimana e l'ultima rimaneva incastrato il tasto della luce) finalmente una semplice con appoggio che la protegge da tocchi mattutini maldestri. Snooze illimitato. Facile inserire, disinserire o modificare l'allarme.

Exactly what one wants in an alarm clock: 1. Compact size suitable for home and travel. 2. Crescendo alarm that starts off quiet is a REALLY nice feature. 3. AA battery power lasts for a very long time. 4. No bright display or LEDs to disturb sleep. 5. Buttons and switches are perfect for operating in the dark, and time/alarm setting is quick and intuitive. 6. Price is just right!

Very nice alarm clock. Sleek design. We like how the display is non intrusive, if you simply brush the top of the clock it will then illuminate itself. Hopefully it will last as long as our previous Braun alarm clock. - For size comparison, with a 1990s Braun flip-cover.
