It Just Work!
It Works!! I use toe socks and pull them inside out.I use a large cosmetic brush to apply blister shield where I need it on the socks being liberal with the amount, but also keeping down how much of a mess I make, then pull socks back to right side out. No more edge blisters, no more hot spots so far even when socks and shoes are soaked from high humidity runs. This has simply been the single best product I have used. This plus toe socks along with the correct size shoes and shoe brands that work for me is as close to a real 100% solution to foot blisters and hot spots from running as I've ever had.

Single Most Effective Blister Prevention Product for Hiking/Ultra Running Available: Period.
Raced on all seven continents, Marathon des Sables, Eco-Challenge, Raid Gauloises, Ultra-X Sahara, Ultra-X Tanzania, etc. Multiple Ironman triathlons. Former Army Ranger. I also work in the largest outdoor retail store chain in the U.S., where I am a hiking and trail running sales specialist. 2Toms BlisterShield powder is the single best blister prevention product I have ever used, and I wager I've used most of them. Nothing else works as well for preventing blisters. Initially I assumed that, because this is a very fine, dry powder for friction reduction, it may not be effective once my feet got wet from a river crossing or a downpour. While there is always a greater likelihood of blisters once your shoes, socks and feet become soaking wet, 2Toms BlisterShield continued to work for me to reduce friction and absorb moisture inside my socks in a long race even when they were soaked. In dry conditions, 2Toms BlisterShield powder works remarkable well. With individual toe socks and 2Toms BlisterShield powder, I have done several tough ultra-distance races with absolutely zero foot problems. This follows a race in Africa before discovering 2Toms where I got terrible blisters, then a staph infection in the affected blisters, and had to have seven surgeries on my feet (including a week in hospital). All of these problems were eliminated by using 2Toms BlisterShield. There is no single solution for everyone for total blister prevention. Blisters come from a complex combination of heat, pressure, friction and moisture that may be slightly different for every athlete. But, the friction reduction and moisture absorption properties of 2Toms BlisterShield work better than any other single preventative remedy for blisters in my experience. This is as close as it ever comes to a magic solution to avoiding blisters and foot problems in the absolute worst environments.

Apply every morning wash your feet at night. It always works.
This product truly works wonders in keeping your foot/toes from getting any blisters or rubs. I have lost half of my right foot due to infection. I work in a clinic and a movie theater and usually walk 5-8 miles every day. I use this product inside of my sock and also apply it to my foot with a make up brush to keep from getting any blisters or rubbing whatsoever on my foot. I apply it in the morning and it lasts all day long. At night, please please please you must wash your foot at the end of the day as this product can cake up together between your toes. Don’t get me wrong. It is a super slick slippery product, but with all the sweat and grime that can gather between your toes it can become what I would say somewhat of a grinding product. As long as you wash your feet every night, there is never a problem but several times I have been too tired and just didn’t wash my feet and added more the next day. No, no no do not do that.

It works
This stuff works. It helps so much. Since I started putting this in my socks before long runs, the blisters have completely stopped. It's messy and it gets everywhere, but that's a small price to pay for blister relief. Seriously, this stuff is awesome.

Packaging and scoop make it hard to use
The powder itself is great. The packaging sucks. It should come in a screw-top wide-mouth jar. The powder cakes into the bottom edges of the provided scoop; you need a round-bottom scoop (like hemispherical).

Works well but pricey.
I like it and I think it works well. With the high price in mind, the only drawback is that, like any foot powder, there's a lot of waste involved because so much of it falls to the floor as you apply it to your feet. Once applied it has more clinging power than regular foot powder. Does it prevent blisters? I'm the type who will get deep toe blisters if I merely walk 10 yards, so I always apply it really well between and around the toes and it does work. That said, I'm more of a short distance runner (3 to 5 miles at a time), so I can't vouch for how it might hold up over a half or full marathon. Still, if you're at your wit's end with blistering problems (as I was) you might find your answer with this stuff. Will I buy it again? Once the bottle is empty I'm going to experiment with regular foot powder and corn starch. If those work just as well, no I won't buy it again, but only because of the price. It does work - for me anyway.

Great stuff for feet in dry conditions. Not intended to be used in wet conditions.
The best of the best. 2TOMS is legendary. Pair this with CARPE DIEM. keeps moisture out of feet and smooth functioning. Use KT TAPE for hot spots, and wool toe socks. Add a slim layer of wool or dry max socks and you should be golden.

Not Sure
The product feels like talcum powder, and it's awfully messy to use. I only need it around my heels and found that using a large blush brush was the best way to apply it. I haven't been game to use it on its own as my heels blister up easily. I use it with silicon pads and it helps to stop my heels from getting sweaty but I think talcum powder might do the same job for me and is more affordable.

Zero vesciche
