Works great. Just what I needed

This is a fairly good pair of wire stripper for a really good price! Quality is really good and feels good on my hand when cutting and stripping wires. The cutting part is not the greatest. I'd use a pair of wire cutters to cut bigger wires as these stripper doesn't seem to cut right through 12 gauge wires all the way. I had to trim the wires with wire cutters after. But for stripping wires, they're great! UPDATE: May 5th, 2019 ---------------------------- I installed new 12AWG Monoprice pure copper stranded cables on April 26th. The wire stripper is fast in cutting the plastic coating off of the 12AWG cable. However, you have to be really careful as the cables might not be completely round and when the wire stripper cuts through the plastic, it may cut through some of the outer strands. The wire cutter is sharp. So, what I did was I rotated the cable as I cut bits off of the plastic until I get most of the plastic snipped away and then I pull. This way, I have 99-100% of the strands intact. I still give this wire stipper 4-stars since it does the job well and the price is well worth it.

Just what I was looking for, excellent product

There handy cutters / wire stripper is exactly what one would expect. These are sharp and do a great job stripping wire and are quite easy to use. These ergonomic design fits nice and comfortable in the palm of my hand. The wire size that it takes is perfect. The latch to lock the opening makes it fit nicely into the drawer saving space. I would say that for the price, these are well worth it.

Product arrived promptly & adequately packaged. Product is "as advertised" & appears to be of average quality & fairly priced. Time will tell if it holds up to future electrical/wiring projects around the house. I am pleased with the initial receipt of product & have already completed a couple of minor wiring projects around my home with the help of this tool. It will be a good addition to my tool kit/shop.
