I was skeptical at first because of the price, but I wanted a small belt sander a took the gamble. So far I am surprised with its performance, it isn’t a powerhouse, and if you are too aggressive, it will stop. But works perfectly for what I needed it for, wood and aluminum. Don’t use the grinder wheel or the buffing side, took them back off. The grinding wheel isn’t balanced until you dress it down, so at higher speeds it makes the whole unit jump around on the bench, but that is addressed in the product information. But all I wanted was a compact detail belt sander, and this fits my needs. Recommended.

This is a decent tool for sharpening. It needs to have better power, but the speed is good. Easy to use and set up out of the box. It works reasonably well but too much pressure will stop the rotation. This is a good size for a small workbench and will fit almost anywhere. Best value I've found, but larger tools or harder steel will most likely need a higher torque motor.

This sander is good for the money. The backing behind the belt is bigger than the belt makes it hard to get close to a handle of a knife. The belts that where suggested do not fit I bought both suggested sets and neither fit

I put a leather wheel on it for sharpening knives.

The basic concept here isn't bad, but whoever designed this didn't think about a LOT of things they should have. To start, the belt doesn't run tight, and it's hard to get it to even run close. There are some springs, but they aren't very strong. You need to literally lever the top wheel up while tightening the wheel bracket down. The backing piece is wider than the belt. I'll probably modify this, if possible, but it means you have to be pretty careful when sharpening knives. The 2 wheels, (polishing and grinding), are pretty useless. The polishing wheel is to close to the unit to be useable, and the grinding wheel vibrates everything BADLY. I mounted the until, with rubber isolation pads, to a workbench. It rattles stuff off the entire bench with the grinding wheel attached. Oh yeah, I just found out it's nearly impossible to get belts for it, as they are 1.5" by 15", which even Amazon only sells from ONE seller, who ships them from China, which takes a month. And only offers a multipack with a ton of grits I don't need. I'd pass if I were you. It's kind of a bad product. I'm going to do my best to make it useful, but I wouldn't buy it again.

For its size it works wonders for small blades like kitchen knives and small machetes or axes… not swords do not buy this for large piece projects it will fry the small motor

The motor on this is too weak to work on anything other than balsa wood. This isn't a joke or an exaggeration. When I'm grinding wood, the belt slows all the way down to stopping if I press into the belt. The only other thing I could see this thing working for would be very small jewelry but strictly non ferrous metals. Trying to use this sander for any kind of material removal is just pointless. I would have returned this if I hadn't stupidly waited until after the return window to use it.

Bought this for my husband for Xmas and he loves it. Belts are easy to replace and easy to order. He had it set up and working in no time.

Lo ofrecen como que puede realizar trabajos de biselado y no cuenta con suficiente fuerza, no lo devolví por que me sirvió para afilar de ahí para allá nada sorprendido

La sableuse est petite et c'est bien parfait comme sa, le moteur est assez fort pour les petits travaux mais faite attention pareil car c'est bas de gamme. En général je suis quand même satisfait 😁
