Great internal drive
I still buy CDs and rip them myself with EAC (exact audio copy). Many of the newer drives are extremely slow. This drive rocks. I put it in a Vantec eclosure. It rips CDs in secure mode in 6 minutes. Newer drives can take 30 - 40 minutes and if there are errors, much longer than that. Even when there are errors detected, this drive just blasts right through the re-reads. These are getting harder and harder to find. Traditional brands like Plextor are junk made by the cheapest bidder. If you're looking for a great drive to rip CDs, this is it.If you are using EAC, these are the settings. For read offset, let EAC test it, but I listed it here and yours should be similar.Accurate Stream: ONDrive caches audio data: ONC2 error information: OFFRead offset: +6Overread Lead-In/Lead-Out: OFFSpeed: Highest explicit speedAllow speed reduction: OFFAccurateRip: ONGap detection: Method BGap detection accuracy: Secure

Fully Functional. Got what I ordered
Ordered this DVD Drive when my first one, by another seller, was not sent, they sent a completely different product. Made sure this one was an “Amazon Choice” Drive! Easy to install and set up, did a few things with it, to make sure it was functional. Seems to work great!
