Review: Home baker - I am a home baker, and I don't run a business. The first thing was, no instructions, no recipes. You would not think that that is important, but it is. The sheeter is solidly constructed, and it has a handle on the side that allows you to get repeatable thicknesses. It is very easy to turn. My first 2 tries were failures. Pizza dough ripped up in the machine. Danish did the same. My third try on pizza dough was much better. The thing is, if you know your dough, take it in small steps. Make sure that the dough is not too loose. In the end, I can see me putting away the rolling pin for a long time. By the way, with the weight of the machine, if you set it on dycem, it will not move, and you don't have to use the clamps.

A: Yes, it comes with two heavy duty clamps - all very good quality materials.

**Q: Hi, i run a small business and am looking for something to roll out my pot pie dough (pie crust) easier.  we do 200 at a time.  is it well built?**
A: We use this sheeter to roll out laminated dough and it works really well for us. Obviously all mechanical use, but it is holding up well to our pressure. We don't roll huge amounts of dough every time we roll, so I don't know how it will work for really large amounts of dough.

**Q: The plastic gear on my machine has broken - can I buy this part somewhere?**
A: I have not had a problem with my machine aside from operator problems, so I can't answer your question.

A: Have not made croissants.  I have made dinner rolls, pizza, and bear claws.  I had some failures with danish, but that was because I didn't understand the process.

Machine works well when it can be operated by two people simultaneously. It is difficult to try and roll out a large piece of fondant by myself using one hand to hold and manipulate the fondant and the other hand to crank. Just doesn’t work. I tried using a silicone mat to help in doing it by myself but that didn’t work either as the mat would get stuck due to it’s texture. Otherwise, it is a well built machine...just need an assistant to operate which I don’t have.
