The hat does fit and is a novelty item and not an item priced as a fine piece of headgear for sure. Having said so I gave it lowest rating due to false advertised color. Gray is not lavender or a purple looking shade of color. We Confederate Americans take it as an insult to our intelligence to send us something advertised as Gray that is not.

Much better than I was expecting. It’s by no means a Stetson, but definitely feels and looks better than a “costume” hat. I have a large head and this fits perfect. Zero complaints at this price point.

Hat is cheaply made with some kind of soft felt material. Rifles and yellow band are superglued on. THE BOTTOM SECTION OF THE HAT IS UNEVENLY SEWN TO THE TOP. This is the most frustrating part, looking at the hat from a birds eye view, it looks like who ever constructed this hat did not care at all and took 10 seconds to sew it together and threw on down the assembly line without another thought. It was also packaged in a way that the hat came to me deformed. one side is sticking way up, the front middle of the brim is waveband the other side is flatter. I took steam from an iron to it for a while and it did not fix the problem at all. If you are looking for a cheap hat, maybe get a better one. This is probably only good for one time Halloween costume that you don't care about too much.
