That sounds pretty damned cruel to me. **Q: If i use these colors in my melt and pour soaps will the colors bleed?** A: They bled in the soaps I made after two weeks. I had purple witch hats that bled into the white soap they were inset into **Q: Can these be used to color resin?** A: Hmm...I never even considered using these dyes for that purpose! If colored chalk, eye shadow, India ink, nail polish, acrylic paints, watercolors and even paprika (yep, the seasoning :) can color resin, I do not see why these dyes would not work. However, without knowing which type of resin you're using, I will just state that these are water-based, so if you're using epoxy, the extra moisture could potentially affect the project during the curing process. Not sure how these dyes might work on other types of resin (e.g. fiberglass, polyester). These bottles are tiny though, so you may end up needing more color than these can provide, depending upon your project! The other brand on here (shorter and wider) would just pop off (the spout) and the whole bottle would pour out right into my soap base. Also, the part around the top ended up in my husband’s bath bomb and one of my soaps too. These are better because they don’t do this and they seem to have a richer color. I’m just learning how to make soaps, etc...They don’t last very long and I’ve had two leak out. Price wise it’s these or the other brand since I can’t pay too much right now. The Micas are nice but I don’t always want a pearl or satin look. So I go with these for now...3 times now.
