These boots are amazing! Everything about them is effective and built to last. Fortunately I do not have any back problems, I really only got these for fitness purposes. I workout a lot and do many abdominal exercises regularly. That being said, I was looking for the ability of doing inverted situps at the gym and on my home gym cage. I read previous reviews and heard how great these things were, but nobody really talked about using them anywhere else but a Teeter Rack. I do not have a Teeter Inversion Rack, so I was a little worried that when I got them they wouldn't fit over the pull up bar on my home rack / cage. Not a problem at all. Fits great. These things did take some figuring out how to get on. Once I realized it was easier than I was making it, it was a breeze. They basically get put on like roller blades. After my first couple uses, I could immediately feel and see a difference. Doing worry free form focused inverted situps really worked abdominal muscles that are hard to work without be inverted. They have become a huge part of my ab workouts. If you are looking for these to hang, you can obviously do that as well. As I said, I have no back problems, but I hang around every now and then for fun. Its pretty relaxing. One thing to note - I am 6'1 180 pounds, athletic, fit and didn't really expect these to be big on me. In retrospect, I should have gotten the Regular Teeter Cobra Gravity Boots, not the XL. I just didn't know there were regular ones, or that my calf / ankle areas were small. There is some space even when I have these strapped to the tightest setting that really doesn't need to be there. These aren't uncomfortable, but the regulars would probably be way more comfortable on me. If you are bigger, these are for you. If you are my size or smaller, get the regular Cobras. These are amazing!
