I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the elastic I usually use for bracelets and this one is now my go-to. Holds up really well after months of almost daily wear now, the elasticity has remained, it's pretty strong- I've only ever managed to snap it once from a lot of pulling. I still don't prefer it to the more expensive brand I use but at leass than half the price it's absolutely worth it and still perfect to work with!! I secure the knots with jewelry glue but even without it they tend to stay pretty well

I’m really disappointed with this. I couldn’t get the elastic to run smoothly from the spool and it feels as though it’s badly tangled underneath the smooth outer layer. Once I’d freed up a section that was long enough to work with, it felt quite nice to use, and there were no issues with threading any of the beads onto it, even when the drilled holes weren’t precise. I tied a knot as I usually would, and literally watched it undo itself. I tied it again, and secured it with super glue, but it took so much glue, I ended up with a blob that was too large to hide within a bead and spoils the look of the bracelet. Sadly, I won’t be using this again.

My son bought a bead bracelet which was tied together with regular elastic thread. It pretty quickly started to fray and eventually snapped. To save the day I bought this, I got the thinner size to make sure it would go through the holes in the beads tbh I could have gone a fair bit thicker in diameter. This thread seems really durable and is quite elastic. It was really easy to cut to the right length and thread through the beads. I ended up doubling the thread just to be on the safe side and I managed to tuck the knot inside one of the beads so it's an invisible join. The end result looked really good and now I've got a happy son and quite a lot of spare thread. Good value for money.
