It held up perfectly to a 2' + snowfall on a recent test night out. It's heavier than a firstlight but the size difference and burliness of this tent made it a no brainer for me. At 6', I fit no problem. If you intend on using it in snow and/or rain, the vestibule is a worthy addition, but the ability to leave it home when not needed is a plus.Condensation is not bad at all thanks to the fuzzy toddtex material. No drips with two of us in the tent with minimal venting. Camped the other night in about three feet of snow, 15 degrees F, some wind. Solid as a rock. Well thought out tent. Easy to set up if you pull it over your head and insert the poles while standing up. Looks right at home in the snow. Very comfortable, uncomplicated space. Easy to vent with two vents in the roof and a high and low option on the door. I also own a Fitzroy, which is excellent as well. At first I was reluctant as it looked flimsy sitting by Montain Hardware and North Face tents, but time has proven that first impression wrong. The tent is sturdy, extremelly waterproof and easy to set up. I especially like the fact you buid it from inside (which is great when you're freezing or in pouring rain). Everything has been though of, including the black floor and bright yellow top which make the tent dry up as soon as the sun is up. The tent is also very light so perfect for a backpack. My only pet peeve is the room inside.
