They crimp beautifully (with the correct heat-shrink connector jaws) They crimp down tightly and heat-shrink nice and tight. They make for a beautiful and neat wiring job. I recommend purchasing a decent crimper set with at least 3 jaws/crimp types...sleeveless, nylon, heat shrink. You can pick a set up hear on Amazon for a reasonable price. I ordered the KF CPTEC Crimping Tool Set 7PCS for about $40. If you only intend to crimp heat-shrink connectors there is an option for just that jaw set and crimper for $17. Don't go cheapo and try using a regular crimper, it will show. My only issue with this set is the case which is quite cheesey but easily remedyed by purchasing a better quality box for very little.
