Can this be used on a sit to stand

Absolutely. I was having a hard time lifting my wife from the floor after she had fallen. I would have to call our son to come help me. When he wasn't available I would have to call 911 to help. After I purchased this lift belt, I was able to put it around her and with the handles was able to lift her from the floor with very little effort! Great device! I would recommend it to anyone that is in need of help lifting someone in a compromising position!

The pictures show both a wide belt (Around her back) and a more narrow one (Picture showing belt by itself). Which one comes with this device?

There's an adjustable strap with clips on each end that you can use to clip the wider part around the person you are lifting. The lift belt is very wide and actually works very well. I've used it a few times for my mom. She's too heavy and tall for me to lift her without this lift assist belt. The various hand pulls give you an option for distance and angle of the lift.
