I don't wear these on a daily basis and don't do any particularly rigorous work either, but I decided I needed something a step above the walmart special in terms of quality. These boots far exceeded my expectations and I anticipate them lasting me for many years to come.Right out of the box they're incredibly stiff (duh), but insanely comfortable nonetheless. They do fit just under a half size large, though if you're wearing thick socks like you oughta be, they'll fit like a glove. Over the past few days, the leather has worn in very nicely. I wouldn't quite describe them as "stiff" - more like rigid and supportive.They're not exactly toted as waterproof or water resistant, but they certainly do great in the rain! Went out for a quick test ride on a new motorcycle in some light rain, and after a half hour, all of my clothes were soaked. My socks and feet? Bone dry. The sole on the other hand doesn't fair so well as far as protecting against slips; had more than a couple close calls on the slick truck liner and aluminum ramp when loading the bike.Best of all?
