Very satisfied - tips on installation
Works great. Very satisfied. It seemed to me to have the same "hardness" as when I pump up my tires to 65 and 70 pounds. INSTALLATION - There are three tricks to putting these on. Trick one - you will need tire levers that are about six inches long. 3 or 4 inches will not cut it when you get to the final section of bead. You will be applying alot of force. Trick two - The airless tube wants to "pop out" of the opposite end as you are working the bead around. IMPORTANT, each time you put a piece of bead in use a fourth lever wedged under the rim and push the opposite end of the tire back down onto the tire rim. Trick three - as you put the bead in, go back over it with another tool (made of plastic) to push the bead down further into the rim and put some weight into it. Do this EACH TIME you put a piece of bead into the rim. The reason is at the end the tire (because of the airless tube) is very stretched and you want to minimize this stretch on the outer tire. It took me only about 10 minutes taking my time the second time with no repeat motions necessary. It took me 90 minutes to figure all this out. The first bead of my tire when in almost by hand. It is the second bead with the airless tube in the tire that creates the work. Why did I buy these? This past week I was in a heat stroke situation (90 degrees and 100 percent humidity). I was dumping water on my hat and shirt to help (a army trick when conducting operations in heat). Then, I had a flat tire. The time to do even a 15 minute repair (assuming everything went well) would have been a catastrophe. I was five minutes into a 45 minute walk back after the flat (I chose the sure solution) when a ranger picked me up. I often mountain bike in remote areas and let's say 15 miles out my tires fail. That's a full day walk back. As a safety issue I want my tires to always be working. The tire that failed had a liner in it by the way (yes, I was frustrated). A tack on the trail went through everything. I tested these on a known route. I noticed no difference in my time. I arrived at my usual check point at the same time and returned at the same time. When I received the boxes in the mail, they were so light I thought they were empty (I am being serious). I did not weigh them but it can't be any different than the weight of an inner tube or at least very similar. The tire felt as hard as when I pump up a regular inner tube. I would suggest the manufacturer offer to include THREE PADDLES six inches long of hard plastic (not metal, it scratches the rim) or at least if you buy two you get these free or at least offer to sell a set of three for an extra buck or two. The paddles or tire levers should be six inches long and at least 1/3 or ideally 1/2 inch wide and at the tip have a thickness no more than a large flat head screwdriver (at the end you need to be able to get it under the tire bead). These should be made out of plastic. I want the vendor to keep making and selling these because it has solved a very important problem for me - minimizing breakdowns in the back country. Plus, less weight no tool kit is needed now.

get a Bell instead
while providing relief from puncture this product does so at the cost of being a proper tire. comparing this product to the endurance of "Bell" brand never flat tire I can honestly say that the Bell product (on my other bike) is better in every regard. and has lasted thru the same abuse for 2+ years longer (see attached photos; tooks tire apart bell tube covered by 26x1.75, I had bee riding around with around 5 nails in the tire (i never even noticed they were in there till i took tire apart) <--again, this is Bell brand awesomeness im talkin bout ) When I first purchased this product, It did not fit the tire size advertised. I had to use a 26x 1.95 over "Stop-A-Flat"'s 26 x 2.125. Given the nature of these tires, they put an unusual amount of wear on any rim during installation, both Bell and Stop-a-Flat. however, these tires are supposed to be permanent solutions for as long as the tread on one's tire lasts. Since buying this product and needing to put a smaller than advertised tire over it to gain any function of it, It has now become unusable(4-5months). the shape of this product is not correct. it allows for the pinching of the sidewall in a way that both damages the tire and does not provide rim-tire traction. Say, preventing rear brakes from functioning effectively by allowing the tire to spin over the rim. After I go to use my bike after it has been parked all night, there is a bump while riding every revolution, as if resting on its kickstand cause the foam tire to form a flat spot. Often while riding and needing to bank a turn or really anything, the tire still feels like riding on a half flat tire. upon inspecting my 26 x 1.95 tire's sidewall, it has become damaged to where if were to keep using this product, one day while riding, this stop-a-flat would tear through and separate from the rim while banking or something. definitely not a confidence booster on the road. besides look in this picture how easily it pushes to the side. often when riding of the slightlyest uneven terrain my Stop-a-flat is floppin around on my tire. do not like. Save yourself the trouble and install a Bell no flat from the beginning Edit: Edit: upon removing the tire to switch back to air while I wait for my Bell in the mail, I took some pictures of what happened to this tube. keep in mind the 2.125 tire i bought to use over this was way too loose so I put a much tighter 1.95 over it instead. after 6 months of sub-satisfactory use this: (picture) is what happened to it. see for yourself. the only possibility of using this product would have been MAYBE to try putting a 1.75 tire over the 2.125 tube. from the beginning, mine is destroyed TLDR: bell is tough as nails. Stop-a-flat works by being already always flat (to be fair i never tried to fit a 26x1.75 tire over the stop-a-flat. how i got it over the bell tire.... idfk)

Never get another flat tire!
I ride my bike daily and have had my share of flat tires, from road debris, failed valve stems, goatheads, and several other causes. This is even with heavy duty inner tubes and tire liners. I carry a compact tool kit and an extra inner tube, but it is always a big inconvenience to get a flat tire, especially if I am far enough from home that I have to fix it on the road rather than push the bike home. So I ordered these tubes for my daily commuter bike so that I would never have to fix a flat again, at least on this bike. I read a great many reviews on these and other tubes, and I watched video reviews on Amazon as well as other web sites. I found the video review here on Amazon, for the yellow version of this same tire, to be the most helpful. So I knew these would probably be difficult to install, but I thought I could do it, and the extra work would be worth it, to never get another flat tire. My bike has 700c tires, and I have two sets of tires, 700 x 38, and 700 x 40. So I ordered these orange tubes in 700 x 38. The tires arrived and they are a few centimeters larger than the rims, as some other reviewers pictures show. This was ok, these are the correct size. The first thing I tried was to install these with the 700 x 38 tires. No way, no how was this ever going to work. I’m a little stubborn and I tried for about an hour. I used several different methods that I had seen in the videos. I used zip ties, screwdrivers, and a lot of force. The 700 x 38 tires were just too small for these 700 x 38 tubes. So I took those off and used my 700 x 40 tires, and these were perfect. I put the tire on first, with one side open, then tucked in the tube, then used a few zip ties and two small flathead screwdrivers to seat the tube in on this side. Using this method with the larger tire, the first tire tire took me about 30 minutes, and then having done that tire, the second took about 20 minutes. The tires were tight and firm, and it was then easy to mount the finished tires on my bike. The tires are heavier, as expected, than tires with air-filled inner tubes. Then I went riding. The bike is now slightly more work to peddle, but this is not really a problem. If I gear down by one gear, the work of peddling is the same. I have a heavy steel framed bike anyway, and these are not racing tires. I just get a little bit better of a workout if I want to peddle fast with these tires. I found the ride smooth and comfortable, and the bike corners fine at the medium speed that I ride. Overall, the installation work is worth it to me. These are good for anyone with the same issues that I have and not wanting to have to fix flats, but they are a challenge to install and I would have been really frustrated if I didn’t have the correct tire size on hand. Now that all the work is behind me, I’m glad to have these.

Must have for strollers
Expensive but well worth it. Tricky to install but must have for strollers that have tubed tires. Zero issues since installed and are they used everyday.

WOW NO MORE FLATS EVER
This should be awarded product of the year... No more flats ever and you just replace the treads when worn all the way down. WOW, ,,,,, You need a little patience and force to get it on, but NO FLATS EVER is a NO Brainer. One pain in the ass to save 100 pains

3 stars, better than pneumatic.
Kathunk, kathunk, kathunk goes the wheel. The material is susceptible to plastic deformation over time. I have an Ebike that's back heavy and got this to stop needing to swap tubes in the back(it's always the back, 3k miles since I changed the front). The installation was easy enough but the tire seemed a bit loose around the solid tube. I rode it for a couple miles feeling the Brrrr of the creases in the tube from where zipties held it in a line for packaging compactors. I read several reviews after installing and saw recommendations to put an old tube in to reduce the space in the tire. I parked the bike to do it in the morning. I get the tire loose and while the creases have mostly evened out, the tire has started to get shreaded and there is a big flat spot where the rubber met the road(figuratively) over night. After one self guided lesson in patience, persistence and improvised projectiles, the tire was back on with tube and pneumatic tubs spacer. I needed to step away and left it wheels up. Couple hours later, flat spot is still there(deep sigh). I flip it over to try it out, kathunk, kathunk for about a mile. Then something happens, the instant, temporary deformation evens out with the flat spot and the ride smoothes out. Over the next w days, I get used to a the thinking start that smother out. I got about 50 miles more onto it before a new problem came up. Kathunk, kathunk, kathunk. This time it doesn't stop. Wheels up again and I find a bulge in the tire. I try for a while to get the tire off with no luck. Bike tire levers get put away, car tire levers come out. Tire comes off and out pops a bunched up inverters spacer and a solid tube with a new permanent deformation. I've ordered a different solid tube product and should have it in a few days. 3 stars stars because I see 1 star as worse than pneumatic, 2 as equal and 3 as better. I can ride with the kathunk and that's better.
