Just one improvement suggestion - the lid should stay open if it senses a hand over it. All the chopping in the kitchen has become hassle free because you can place it on your counter and easily throw all the trash away. The inside ring is smaller than the lid though so the garbage bag doesn't fit in it. The touch panel is also completely useless because it will go bad in a few months anyway.
