Reliable, Easy install
Easy install, extremely easy setup when using Mighty Mule opener. I replaced a different brand that was indiscriminately shorting my closing circuit out. I chose this brand and style because I have one on the other side of the gate that has been in service 15 years with no problems.

Great Product, but Replacement Difficult
This walk-up gate lock is the best product ever! We love having it on our driveway gate since it is too far from the house to use an electric gate lock. This one is perfect. Everybody who needs access to our property has their own code (including the Fire Dept./Sheriff/911). We have enjoyed safety and privacy for years with Mighty Mule. The only problem is when the actual keypad needed to be replaced. After some years of daily use, the punch-in numbers no longer punch in, so we ordered a new keypad unit to use with the lock that is still good. We discovered that new keypads all look alike on the OUTSIDE, but on the inside, there are differences. After speaking directly with the manufacturer and gathering this previously unknown information, we returned this new keypad to Amazon. Then we ordered the correctly keyed replacement directly from the manufacturer. If we'd known ahead of time, it would have saved that hassle, but it is STILL worth whatever it takes to have this GREAT safety/security device for our rural mountain road almost 1/2 mile from electrical service. We used to have some strange/scary vehicles driven by unknown "hooligans" coming to our front door. Now they can't get past our gate -- that is secured with our beloved MIGHTY MULE lock.

Works okay, but it needs updated, truthful instructions
As a product, the keypad is of good quality. Time will tell if it will last, hoping others can speak to that. There are no instructions in the box, only a QR code. Watching YouTube videos will be your best source on how to program the keypad. The main reason for my review is the incorrect instructions that can be found on the items page. It shows there are two terminals, one for input power and one for the contact closure. The truth is, it only has a terminal for the contact closure. I'm guessing the product has changed over the years, but those instructions should be updated.

Good Replacement Gate keypad for Mighty Mule Openers
Replaced my old, worn out mighty mule gate keypads. Worked perfectly. Old ones lasted probably 5+ years so hopefully these will as well. Pairing instructions are on a QR code that is shipped with the keypads. Very easy to follow instructions. Had mine installed and paired within 10 minutes.

Highly recommended. Just that "one time" that someone is at the gate and their remote doesn't work, or even for emergency access, this is a necessity. Installation was easy, operation is great. Mine was installed off to the side a little hidden so thieves dont see it.

Good brand
All this "Mighty Mule" stuff is sturdy and works well. I have fitted two double gate openers now and both are working perfectly after a few years in harsh winter conditions. Installation instructions are clear, remotes hold memory without loss. I recommend this brand.

Works great
Replaced a 15 yr old model. Key pad was worn out. This is a Factory original, works great with MM gate controller. Just not sure if the direct wiring will power the pad, would be nice if batteries were not required.
