The only time I see silverfish in my home, they are usually on the wall and it doesn't seem like there is a practical place nearby to put these.** A: I place them above the shower head. And some under shelves and anywhere there there is a silver fish seen. I had them all around my house. The kitchen you have to be careful not to put one by food. Its good to put under drawers that have non food items. Under the fridg. and stove. Always remember to put some in the attic and sub basement. Where ever there is moister put one. I use them everywhere. My friend had some come out of her light switch. She didn't have it covered so that is how she found them. She stuck one up above with tape and they were gone in a week or so. But, I'm not like most people who can just deal with insects. Silverfish I know can do a lot of damage and as soon as I saw a few in my bathroom and 2/3 in my room I had to do something and I found these packets. I still see silverfish after I started using these packets and summer has not even started yet. However, almost every silverfish I have seen since I put these packets in seem to be sickly/dead or just slower in general. In the middle of the night I have even seen one sitting right next to the packet. So, I really would recommend this on top of keeping things extra clean.
