I was in a pool and used this snorkel 16 times and the float mechanism was blocking my breathing. Can't find anything on the internet anything about if or how it can be fixed. $65 down the drain. edited 1/31-I spoke to someone at Santa Barbara Aquatics who sold me the snorkel and after discussing it with her and trying to understand how the dry valve is supposed to work considered it's the angle of the snorkel relative to the mouth piece that caused the issue.I played with it as the snorkel is 2 pieces and adjusted it so that the angle of gravity for the valve keeps it open when my head is down in the water. I swam without any problem today. Ultimately-there is stuff on Youtube it seems for everything- but for discussing how dry snorkels work and troubleshooting issues like this are lacking.
