Use of your joycon or pro controller's right analog stick will be your portal to beam them into your game **Q: How do i know what skylanders i can buy to use in this new game?** A: All Skylander figures from past games will work on this game, Trap Crystals and Vehicles do not work, how ever the latter does give bonus chests. **Q: Can I just get the game** A: It came with 3 figures. **Q: Do i need to buy skylander figures to play this game?** A: If you want to expand your gameplay, then yes, you do.
