Perfect for card hoarders!
Functionality: This wallet is absolutely perfect (for those who have the same needs as myself). When it says it first 4-6 cards, it means that it fits up to 5 non-raised cards and 1 raised, or 3 non-raised and 2 raised. The inside holds another 4 cards. The cash holder is fine for up to 2-3 bills. I'd say beyond 3 and the wallet doesn't close properly. It's clearly made for those who rarely use cash. The lever that releases the cards is great. You can easily hold the wallet and pull the lever with your pinky for one handed use. Design: The wallet is gorgeous and very well made. It is much smaller than I anticipated, but in all the best ways possible. It is unnoticeable in it's size, which is a great thing, but very noticeable for it's design, which is also great. I highly recommend this wallet if you primarily use cards, bus tickets, metro cards, etc. and limited cash!

Worth the money, super convenient
this is the second one I have. The first I've had for 4 years. The leather and the metal mechanism are both very sturdy, but the adhesive that holds the metal to the leather gave way after 4 years. I glued it back on with epoxy, so it's never coming off again, but I needed a second one anyway, since the metal part only holds six cards. There's room for more in pockets in the leather, but they can be a little cumbersome to take out. The metal mechanism allows you to pull out exactly the card you need in a split second, and I have more than 6 cards that I need to be able to access that quickly, so a second one was in order. They're small enough for two to fit in almost any pocket. They're not cheap, but neither are they too expensive, and well worth the money for the quality and convenience you're getting.

but it feels great. I've been using a TGT wallet
Just received it today, but it feels great. I've been using a TGT wallet, which I like a lot but I like this because there's a bit more room. The RFID protector adds a little weight and thickness, but that's expected. It's not much. I've been used to my TGT which is a glorified rubber band (elastic and a little leather) so anything I purchased would have been heavier and thicker. Not sure why not some reviews say the leather isn't good. I'm a big wallet guy and have several, including Montblanc, Tumi, etc. The leather is softer than a stiff Montblanc, but a still leather wouldn't work with the compactness of this wallet. The RFID protector holds 5 cards. I have four credit cards and a drivers license and it's smooth as butter. I tried another flat card (work ID) but no bueno. Too tight. The inside pockets fit 2-3 cards each comfortably. I put my Costco, Sam's, work ID, an unused gift card, and my medical card in those two pockets with no issue. They are too small for business cards (if yours are longer than a credit card). That would have been ideal for me but I have an iphone case that holds those. I don't have a lot of experience with the v-shaped cash holder inside. I threw a 20 in there with no issue but I could see having to put the bills in laid flat rather than folding in half if there's more than 3 bills. Folding those 4+ bills into 1/4's would probably add some girth to the wallet and not close as easily. I would highly recommend this wallet and I'll give a lb update if that changes. Don't see any issues with the RFID and wallet connection. Don't see how people can be surprised that they're glued together. They're two different materials (one is soft and one is hard) so how else would they bond? Great wallet so far.

Awesome slim wallet option with a cool card access mechanism!
I had looked for a slimmer wallet with the quick access switch like the Secrid wallets do, and landed on this one due to the reasonable price. So far I love it! The mechanism works great, although works best with cards with very slim or completely flat numbers so they all sit flush, and has had enough other storage for everything else from my previous wallet. The button mechanism has held up decently well for months since I've purchased with no issues and is easy to use, despite the initial learning curve, and the wallet looks nice! I've gotten multiple compliments on it. My only issue/recommendation is to not keep it in a pocket with anything else like keys, etc. It definitely start scratching pretty quickly when kept in a pocket with even just my key fob for my car. But overall, most of my wallets have developed cosmetic issues, so don't really knock the Secrid wallet for that. I generally love it and don't regret the buy!

If you're like me and you want to invest in a high ...
I wanted to wait a while to review this product because I didn't want to judge it off of first impressions. I've been looking for a RFID wallet for a while that I could stick in my back pocket without any worries that it might break. The fact that this wallet has a leather cover or wrap around it (I can't find the word to describe it lol) gives it a traditional wallet look. At first I was afraid that this wallet would not be durable, but I've had it since May and it is still in the same condition as it was when I first got it. Don't let the price tag on this wallet scare you off. If you're like me and you want to invest in a high quality, long-lasting products, then this wallet is a definite buy. The only thing I wish they would have done was make some sort of mechanism to keep the leather part intact with the card holder, but that isn't a deal breaker. Plus I always get people asking me what kind of wallet do I have and that it's cool.

but I really like this wallet
I have used it for just 2 weeks, but I really like this wallet. I used to use leather tri-folds as I like their compact size. I did not mind the thickness of trifolds, but I always thought bifolds were too wide. Tips: Do not prefold bills, use like trifold. Put embossed in face-to-face to fit 4 embossed cards in Secrid. Reasons why I found the Secrid Slim Wallet to work well for me. 1. It is thinner than my trifold when my trifold was at its thinnest. The Secrid Slim is not a thin wallet, even with the entire contents of my trifold, the Secrid is thinner than my trifold. 2. I use the "bill-holder" like a trifold. I did not prefold my bills. This makes the Slim thinner AND allows easy access to the cash by just opening the top flap and pulling out the bills I want. Just don't prefold your bills. I have had 10 bills held this way and the wallet was still mostly flat. 5-7 bills and the wallet is "flat". The bills are still "invisible" from the outside. 3. I have all of my everyday carry cards with me. In the Secrid, I have 4 embossed cards with their numbers facing each other in pairs. I also have 2 flat cards for a total of 6 cards inside the Secrid. I have had no issues with the mechanism, and all of the cards are firmly held in place. I have 4 flat cards in one leather pocket and 2 flat cards in the other. That is 12 cards already and I can fit another 2 if needed. 4. I do not even have to open my wallet to get access to the most used items, the cards.

Great to hold plastic credit cards
I am on my third Secrid Wallet. The first two were fine, but didn't work for me; the snap version would get caught in my pocket as I pulled it out. The suede version was too grippy in my front pants pockets and would pull my pocket liner out with it. So the sleek simple black leather one works best for me. Six cards in the main slot. Two cards in each of the additional interior pockets. You can jam a third card in each of the interior pockets, but it makes it difficult to get them out. Also, any more than 10 paper bills and your wallet may not lay flat. My only real gripe with any of the Secrid wallets is you shouldn't put metal cards in the main slot as they can slip out. I have never had an issue with plastic credit cards. But with credit card companies that issue metal cards, they are just too heavy to stay put with any quick movement. You can put them in the interior pockets, but that defeats the easy access, which is such a great feature of the wallet. Other than that, I love it.

Fantastic wallet!!! 1 year later review
I've had this wallet for roughly a year plus now and I love it!! Now it clams that it can hold 12 to 14 cards, but I was able to squeeze about 20 cards. Leather tends to expand after a lot of use, but it's not expanding to a point where cards fall out. I work at an airport and I've heard numerous claims that people will drive by and "swipe" cards without you even knowing. With this wallet you will never and I mean NEVER have that happen since it is RFID protected. Now for me I have to keep my wallet closed with some Paracord since I have my wallet nearly stuffed with cards and money, but if you only carry 12 cards you won't need a band to keep it closed. Overall this is a fantastic wallet and I don't think I will need to buy another one unless this one breaks which I don't see happening ever! Totally worth the money I would definitely recommend it for anyone!!

Excellent Slim Wallet
I bought this after looking at multiple reviews online and on youtube..it leans on the expensive side but the build quality is amazing I must say and it is really small as well. Can hold 5 cards easily in the metal part and an additional two cards in the leather wallet, in addition to 3-4 notes as well.

Worth every penny, buy with confidence
This thing is awesome. I'm proud to whip it out (that's a first) and show it off any chance I get. Pro tip for the next guy: don't over fill the leather pockets inside, especially the one that's flush with the metal case because if you do and then try to close it, it may slowly peel the leather away from the back of the metal case, due to the curving the leather will do with over filled. It started to do that on mine, so I jsut pulled out a few cards and it stopped the issue. Since I caught it early, there is no problems! The adhesive is such high quality that the leather hasnt' peeled off any more and since it's only 5% or so peeled off it has no functional or cosmetic issues. Love this wallet, use it every day obviously and I wish I'd bough it sooner. If you can get it for under $100 Canadian it's a great price beceause I mean it's a bit pricy but wallets are like shoes, you'll use them every day for years so may as well be enjoying all those touches than not.
