This doesn’t work for the photo I have.** A: It's unfortunate crappy advertisement, if you scroll far enough into the description of the product ot is measured out on the mat to be 7.5 x 11.5 and not 8x12 like it says in the title. **Q: Would this work for a 12.5x16 picture?** A: I don’t think so. You would have to go one size up and have a custom mat cut the that size. Can you crop off 1/2”? Maybe cut 1/4” off each side with a mat knife. **Q: How should I remove the protective film on the plexiglass? I can't do it.** A: Don't give up. It is difficult to find the edges of the the film to peel off. These met my requirements and they were very affordable. I'd have preferred to have wood frames with traditional mats made of acid free paper but wood frames with mats the right size would have cost multiple times more, rendering them out of my price range.Bottom line, these frames are good and a great value for the cost. And, if I did get mats and have them cut to the size I wanted, they'd work with these frames and work better than the "mat" provided, which is just a piece of glossy paper with the right size hole for my photos.If you need a bunch of 8" x 12" photos framed quickly and looking professional, I'd strongly recommend these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ value *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 May 2023* This is a two-pack of black 11x17 frames. Let's be clear, these are not high-end, super-quality frames but I'm VERY pleased with the value. They arrived well-packed and intact (which is almost unheard of these days). They come with a nice white mat and the back is very well constructed for something so inexpensive, with lots of grips and hanging material included. The acrylic is very thin, thinner than you're used to seeing on these frames, but it doesn't need to be thick, and it has removable film on BOTH sides to keep it protected before you mount your picture.I've bought a lot of cheap frames in my day and I half expected this to be one of those that's so crappy it's almost worthless but the overall value for this package is great.
