I had two slides that were extremely difficult to remove and had begun rounding the nut. I ordered this one knowing Dawson as a well revered sight maker and trusted that it would be at worst better than the two that were not working. As expected the two sights I had issues with came out the first try. Another positive aspect of this version vs the knurled and plastic ones, is there are flat sides to the sight tool which made it easier to attach a small vice grip to get some rotational leverage on it. My other sight tools were round or screwdriver-plastic-shaped and it was more difficult to make that happen. Skip the round ones and grab this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality but it is not magnetic *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2018* If you own a Glock, chances are you are going to be replacing your sights at some point. This tool is a must and at a great price but be aware that it does not have a magnet inside. That makes it a bit of a challenge because I have to hold this upright and lower the slide on it so the screw does not fall off and spread Loctite all over the slide. Still, a five star item as I used it multiple times to change front sights and it always worked great.Keep in mind that you need a bit of Loctite on the screw and you can just hand tight it. If you are going to use Loctite as you should, do not use a method to tighten further than you can by hand, all you will accomplish is give yourself a headache when you want to remove the sight in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tool design! *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2019* After reading reviews on all the glock front sight tools available I decided to go with this one since its steel (not plastic and aluminum). I used it to remove a trijicon HD sight off my g19 to install on my g26. Good thing I went with this tool because whoever installed it went way over hand tight which required the use of a socket wrench for extra leverage which may have broken a plastic tool. It is machined with reliefs in the corners of the hex for a perfect slip fit interface onto the screw head with little to no play and is precise enough that the screw head cannot be engaged at an angle.(no need for magnetized head).
