I grabbed these for the home studio and they are amazing. easy to use. very strong. and has all the colors you need. highly recommend for anyone wanting some great home studio lights. haven't used them outside yet

Bought these for use at an Oscars viewing party red carpet affair...was cool to use app to create fake camera flashes...just wish there was a better way to control multiple lights in the one app at the same time

These lights are really good for studio photography/video. I find them pretty easy to operate manually. The app is OK, but could be improved, with that being said it gets the job done. My only problem with these lights is how cumbersome it is to add the diffusers or barn doors. The barn doors have to be literally screwed on, so taking them off to add a diffuser is a whole thing. Also I absolutely hate the foldable diffuser, they are so annoying to set in place with those Velcro straps. I wish GVM would come up with a more simple solution to adding light modifiers to these lights. I find that these work best while being used in conjunction with other diffusers for the best light. Other than that, these are pretty great and super bright for the price, the case is pretty nice too. Not a bad buy if you are in a pinch or tight budget.

So I saw two options w or w/out the softbox and it seemed like it was a $5 price difference from sellers. So for the price it’s fine. But with the softbox on you cannot tilt the LED down. So raising above your subject pointing down doesn’t seem to be an option with them on. Must use a c stand w a boom I assume. Just seems like a poor design for them.

Good lights with great adjustments and light colors, could be brighter at this price point. Soft boxes are pretty much junk and do very little.

While the product performs excellently on what we need. The brightness is okay in most situations and you can set it up in different colors with/out the app which is good, but you need the app to access the full brightness and generally the product. Now, about the damage. Our product was damaged in the LED light - tripod mount part due to shipping as they were already mounted and probably got damaged from shifting inside the soft case.

I really love these lights. I just started a YouTube channel and needed some thing more reliable than chasing the sun light. These lights give a really good variety of tones, colors, and brightness levels. Perfect for the professional beginner. Easy to set up breakdown and transport
