What are the dimensions please?

Measuring my pan it is about ten inches across and 3.75 inches deep. I like to make rich cakes sowhen my cake is done it feeds 12-15 people easy.

Is this cast aluminium and heavy duty as well?

Yes, it's cast aluminum and I would consider it to be heavy duty. It is not a thin light bundt pan. I think it is the best one on the market, at least that I've found; and I do quite a bit of baking.

Will this hold 2 boxed cakes at one time?

No. This will only hold one boxed cake. Will have some extra room in pan so it doesn't bake over side of pan but not enough space for a second cake mix.

Is cooking spray necessary?

No cooking spray is necessary...however I still use a small amount because the cakes just turn out better.
