Roll & Go Hair Tool ®

I don’t like spending more than 5-10 minutes on my hair and this is giving me the hair-dos of my dreams. At first, I wasn’t going to give it a rating for “value for money” because it is a bit pricy for such a specialized tool, but then again, it is a very specialized tool and it works BLISSFULLY well. I do with the teeth were slightly less flexible, but I only just started using it and may come to find that with different techniques, that flexibility is an asset. So easy to use and such a helpful book! I got started right away! I’m very excited to be able to do some very sophisticated retro up-dos on air-dried and/or unwashed hair. Very inspiring!

The Roll & Go is the best hair tool I have bought in years. I followed a tutorial for the Primrose look, and was able to get all the curls done fairly easily the first time. My hair came out soft and so much better than I expected. I have fine, fragile hair, and it is so nice to have a style that lasted: Even overnight. No hair dryer or hot tools required. It arrived on time, packaged nicely, with a nice instruction book with resources and coupons. I love it and worth every penny, as I expect it will last a long time, if cared for as instructed.

This is a MUST HAVE tool for retro and vintage hairstyles! I bought this as a gift for my sister who is a 1940's aficionado. She has fine curly hair and I have super fine straight hair and this worked amazing for both of us. Victory rolls turn out sleek and perfect and it's so easy to use! And, after years of failing at a french twist this tool makes it sOOOO much easier and the result is perfection and elegance. Definitely worth buying!

I wish I'd purchased this years ago. It's quite easy to use and a real time saver. Curls turn out great and you can sleep on them. A bit pricey for something plastic but at least it's made in America.

I have 2C wavy/curly hair. My hair likes to "split" in the back of my head when I air dry and use the "plopping" method. This tool is for those who want to make victory rolls or sausage rolls a la 1940s with their hair. But this tool works great to create nice curls for us curly girls. I use the tool on my wet hair to make curls. I stabilize the wet curl with the extra long clips (also on Amazon) while air drying my hair. Hairstyles are only as consistent as the tools and styling products that you use. This tool is one half of the equation. Good styling/setting gel and regular practice is the other half to obtain a good do-it-at-home hairstyle. Do not trust the cheaper versions of this type of tool. They have "teeth" along the bristles which will snag and frizz out hair. I am so glad that I took the plunge and bought this hair tool. Please don't stop making this!

I'm generally pleased. The product does what it says, and once you get the hang of it, it's generally easy. I was a little disappointed it isn't the cute mint color but a more 80s teal. More than that, this product was clearly made from a 3d printer not it's own mold, which I think it's kinda cheap. Given the hefty pricetag, that is quite underwhelming.

The moment I got my package I went straight to the bathroom to try it out. Super duper and easy peasy. I had a cute updo in about 5 minutes. It was so elegant that I felt a bit overdressed for doing my taxes in my livingroom and so I threw on a scarf to dress it down. I can't wait to try out more styles as well as create some pincurls for lovely waves. I personally like more modern versions of victory rolls to look more punk than traditional vintage and I am so excited that this tool will make things much easier to gain that look. I love that I now have an easy way to put up my hair instead of just my standard top knot bun. I am so glad I finally made this purchase as I had been looking at this tool since Christmas. Yay! Can't recommend enough.

This tool is amazing. So simple, no heat, cuts hair time by like 4 times!! Seriously, I used to struggle for an hour trying to get the perfect vintage victory roll, now it takes two minutes...if that. The curly in the photos are for the 1970's version of The Odd Couple; not victory rolls, but super easy up-do curls. Brilliant tool!
