I bought the Mr coffee 2134286 5 cup machine for my son when he returned after working for 4 years in America where he used this same model every day - due to the different voltage in the two countries he gave his coffee maker to a friend there. He says that in America, and for the last several months in the UK, he used paper filters and did not, and does not know anybody who uses a re-usable filter. He suggests contacting the makers to find out if they make them. Sorry for not being much of a help. **Q: can I get it in black with a English plug** A: It does come in black and although I was told mine would have a UK 3 pin plug, I'd didn't, so had to get an adapter. Thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent small (5 cup) coffee maker *by U***1 on 5 December 2023* After about 28 years of faithfully and flawlessly making good coffee for me, my old Mr. Coffee finally ate the big one. It was the perfect 12-cup coffee maker in every way (features and performance). Wow... talk about value... When sniffing around for a new maker with the usual local businesses (online), I couldn't find anything with all the right features. One of many things that was great about my old MC was that it was very compact for a 12-cup. With the swing-out basket, I could service the basket and add water without having to pull the maker out from under the kitchen cabinet EVERY TIME (small apartment, small kitchen). Interestingly, none of the locals offered the Mr. Coffee brand? Are they still in business? Also, I realized that I didn't need a 12-cup maker. I've never made more than 4-cups at one brewing in my life. So a smaller coffee maker would work really well. Thank goodness I sniffed out Amazon for coffee makers. They had several Mr. Coffee makers to choose from... and I found my perfect new Mr. Coffee!! It's small, compact, takes up very little space on the countertop, easy to service, easy to use. My wife doesn't drink coffee, but she even likes it a lot. Has the classic good looks of the old one, basic, simple. I don't miss the timer the old one had... when I go out for morning smoke I hit the switch, and when I get back in yummy coffee is hot and ready. Just FYI, my old MC had an LED display clock/timer. Easy to see/read. A lot of the current units use LCD display. So I have to turn on the kitchen light and put on my reading glasses to be able to work with it. So the point is folks, LED display good, LCD display sucks. I was so totally stoked out with this maker that I bought two. I don't expect that the maker will last as long as the old one (not likely), but we're 66 and I figure that I'm stylin' on coffee makers for the remainder of my life. I can be pretty harsh, tough, in my reviews. But in this case... been using it daily for about 6 months, love my new Mr. Coffee 5-cup maker in every way!! PS... I read in a review on the maker that you can easily use the regular size filter baskets rather than the "mini" baskets. Totally true in my experience.
