Can you dye this gum paste?

I used the wilton paste jell and it came out beautiful. This gum paste was so much better than the bag wilton type from the hobby store. I was really happy with it.I made three 4-5 inch animals and still have some left. I used the tip I found on the internet of putting the ball I was working on in the microwave just for a few seconds right before I did my form.

What is the shelf life after open?

6mo to a year after you open it, as long as you keep it in the plastic bag it comes in and snap close the secure lid. Going on 4 mo s with mine and fresh every time I open the bag.

Can you add food color to make the gum paste different colors??

Yes, you can color fondant with any gel food coloring. Make sure to wear gloves since this item is already made up, so you will have to kneed the color into the dough.

Does this contain Gelatin?

It does not state on the GUM PASTE label that gelatin is included in the ingredients. Gum tragacanth is listed as a stabilizer and cellulose gum as a thickener. Total toll und einfach zum verarbeiten!

Kann jedem empfehlen dieses Fondant zu kaufen! Ich habe viele verschiedene schon ausprobiert aber dieses lässt sich einfach am besten verarbeiten! Es ist nicht so hart, man kann es sehr gut einfärben und es ist eins was man auch mal mitessen kann! Ich finde Fondant immer extrem süß und eklig zu essen, daher esse ich es NIE mit! Dieses hier ist anders, es ist nicht so extrem im Geschmack.

Ist ein super tolles Produkt, lässt sich gut verarbeiten, riecht auch gut, man muss es nicht so viel durchkneten, sonst ist es zu weich und klebt auf dem Tisch, mit Stärke oder puderzucker ist alles wieder ok.
