Maintains temps between 34 and 39 degrees constant. I removed the old thermostat which had the probe in one of the evap coils inside the fridge. The old thermostat would keep the compressor on and would start to freeze everything while on setting 4. Setting 3 would be in the 40-50 degree range, way too warm.I install this thermostat with the wound coil hanging out the back of the evap, towards the back of the fridge so it picks up air temp instead of evap coil temp. Works great. Compressor cycles on only when necessary. I have 2 analog fridge thermometers inside and they always read in the "fridge" range which is a very small window. We'll see how long this lasts, hopefully many years.
