In other words, you can for example connect to this device directly from an iPad via WiFi and plug it into a fixture, splitter, dimmer, or wireless transmitter such as the ones from Donner, and using an ArtNet/sACN capable app, control one universe of DMX512 without the need for extra equipment. Though the user interface isn’t super intuitive and the build quality is quite cheap, for the price point I am unaware of another single product that offers this capability that doesn’t cost hundreds or thousands of dollars more. Although I have yet to use it in a professional setting and cannot speak to its full range or longevity, I have tested it in a home lighting environment using multiple dimmers and wireless receivers, and did not experience major lag or disconnection issues that I could trace to this device.
