The instructions just say to pour the yeast in and don’t mention the “rehydrating”.** A: No need to rehydrate the yeast, this yeast performs well without rehydration and it is a big pitch compared to the batch size. **Q: Do you offer 6 gallon mead kit?** A: Currently we do not offer a 6 gallon version of this kit. **Q: Do I need to rack it into another gallon jug at all? The mead recipe my brother uses has him change jugs after a week** A: You don’t have to but the dead yeast will be at the bottom of the jug. It is better to transfer a clean batch to a new container/bottles.
