While his character is questionable, that of his friends leaves no doubt. We felt it necessary to put some sort of alarm on our french doors just in case someone would think of looking for a way to get some fast cash. Hence, the french doors our weakest point. I ordered two of these alarms in white. Put them up with the senors on the door at the top of the frame with the alarm itself on the casement. They worked as stated. Then our daughter and son in law came over. Our son in law, who we seriously just adore, asked what "those" are. I explained the Doberman alarm. He kind of giggled, then said, "what if they break the glass." Ah Ha! Well, my dear, they also have a vibration sensor. To this, he took his fist and hit the edge of the door, and the alarm went off! He that "okay, well that works" look. The alarm is LOUD, which is what you want. It's fast and easy to install. As my retired police officer friend and police officer son of my best friend said, "an alarm is only as good as the attention it draws." And this it does do! Only draw back: Amazon, please STOCK these items in both colors. No one wants to wait 2 to 4 weeks.
