Review: Decent gun - Went out an shot a 10 ibs. walleye on the first try. Very impressive gun for the money. Two thoughts for modifying it. One, get a band to maintain tension on the rope, two either clamp or melt plastic on the ropes connection to the shaft. Three, be prepared to unscrew the tip to get the shaft out of the bigger fish.
Review: 45cm model - The gun is pretty nice for the price. However it's very underpowered in my opinion. I was taking shots at fish at 3-4 feet away and the spear was bouncing off them I added a second band. (See pics) And that made a huge difference. And now it's amazing. It's a great compact gun for areas with kelp or hole hunting Mine came with a spear and tip and line so I'm not sure why some reviews has issues with that. Also to those people leaving bad reviews because they can't pull the bungie back. You need to go to the gym. Pulling the bungies is pretty easy.

**Q: Does the 85cm take a dmaler rubber than 15mm if so what size?**
A: The Seac Sting 85cm Speargun comes stock with a pair of threaded bands that are 16mm thick and 22cm long. This size has been tested by Seac to ensure efficient and nominal performance.  If this size is too hard for you to load then your best bet is to get yourself some longer bands with the same 16mm diameter. Doing so creates less of a loading effort and gives you less power, meaning less speed and range but may be ideal for certain styles of spearfishing such as getting a second shot on a medium-sized fish to secure the landing or shooting inside of rocks at a short distance.

**Q: Hello, I have the 35 pistol but I lost the threaded tip, I'm looking for it on Amazon but it doesn't appear. Can I use another thread tip? or which on**
A: Yes you can. Give them the thicness of the spire you are using.

**Q: So i got my 85 cm and the sling is pretty hard to pull back im new to this and was wondering if theres any way i can make it easier to pull back?**
A: It's usually easier when you're in the water. Another thing is your form. Holding the band with one hand from the bottom while the other hand holds the handle is the best way. You basically have to pull the band back (with your right hand or strong-arm) while you push the handle towards the tip of the speargun (with your left hand or weak-hand) and you then keep your grip on the band while you transfer the handle to your chest so you can use both hands to pull back to the loading notches all in one motion. If you hesitate it becomes harder. Keep in mind that it is not recommended to load a speargun outside of the water. You may injure yourself trying to do so. Look up videos on youtube to better understand how this works. Some people learn better with visual aid rather than reading. Once you've got it, it becomes second nature. Have fun and be safe!

**Q: Can you replace the band on this speargun?**
A: Yes you can. The band comes in two separate pieces which screws on. You can get a different band and allow it to pass through the opening on the bottom tip or get a different band to screw on.
