Cheap, works great, just take care so you don't put holes in it, rinse it when done. Great product!
OK, so I'm pleasantly surprised! I need to lay a bit over 500 lbs of cement, and I'm not going to go buy a cement mixer (long cleanup, and where am I supposed to store it at?) I've mixed quickrete in 5lb buckets (the worst method), and in cement mixing tubs (the 2nd hardest method). Thought I'd give this a try. And WOW! It worked! 3 days ago I mixed three 90lb bags (one at a time obviously), that was hard cuz I'm not a spring chicken, and adding around a gallon of water into 90lbs of concrete makes that bag around 100lbs. And I needed to rock it and flip it end to end, side to side for a few minutes (the directions say much less, but it didn't mix that good with a shorter mixing evolution). The directions also say to rinse the mixing bag after each use (that's stupid IMO). Today I did four 60lb bags, and I think that's the sweet spot. It went WAY quicker even tho I needed more bags. And the mixing bag comes with a mixing guide (as to how much water you need to add for dry, wet, ideal, super wet concrete...and it's a grid chart as it has all the various sizes of cement bags). For ideal 60lb bag it needed 6.5 pints of water. And they nailed it, it was a perfect mix. Was able to do all four bags pretty quick and pour them in where they were going and spread and smooth it out, then do the edges and it was done. I didn't rinse the bag out till I was totally done, and it rinsed out as easy as a bucket, folded it back up and put it back in the bag, it's ready for use whenever I need it. I'm also just saying here that 90 lb bags were just too hard, 60's were SO much easier, and it was less mixing time before it was ready to pour. From now it will be 60lbs for me. Oh, they say something about it but I think it bears mentioning here...you do NOT want to do the flopping around mixing if there are any rocks or sharp stuff lying where you are flopping the bag around...I swept my area and then laid down a tarp, did all of the mixing on that and it was perfect. No holes in the bag (also you will want a set of those gloves with rubber on them, really nice grip on the bag and keeps concrete off your hands, which is really bad stuff on your skin). I didn't need a shovel (like I do with the 5 gal bucket or mixing tub), so much less cleanup...just the bag and my trowel and edger...that was it. Easiest concrete work I've done (tho in fairness it wasn't that much, no way you'd do a sidewalk or driveway or anything, it would take forever). So I give this 5 stars...cheap, worked great, and still ready for more after over 500lbs of concrete coming out of it in 3 days. Whoever invented that, well done, hope you get rich!

Works great, but only for one bag of concrete
This was great to use. But it will only last for one bag of concrete. I had to mix three, and by the second one the corners of the bag had already started to leak. They should reinforce the corners so you can mix more than one bag if you need to.

The Concrete Saver: Ingenious and Efficient
Well, I must say, when my wife mentioned needing a concrete mixing bag for our latest DIY project, I was skeptical. You know, the usual 'why bother' attitude. But, let me tell you, this product has exceeded all expectations. Basically, it's like having a personal assistant for your concrete needs. I mean, it's ingenious, really. It made the process of mixing concrete for our small pad so much smoother and less messy. You know how it can be, trying to mix concrete in a makeshift setup. But this bag, it's designed to make your life easier. It's compact, yet spacious enough to hold the right amount of materials without spilling. And the best part? It worked great, no complaints from my wife, who's the real expert on this. It's durable, too, which is a plus considering the wear and tear it might endure. So, in my experience, if you're looking for a reliable, efficient, and hassle-free way to mix concrete, this bag is the way to go. It's a must have, honestly. I'm glad I didn't dismiss it as just another tool. It's a testament to thoughtful design and practicality. I tend to think that any DIY enthusiast or professional would appreciate the convenience it offers. Highly recommend it, come to think of it.

good for small projects
ordered the mixing bag as I was about to install a mailbox post and didn't want the hassle of using my wheelbarrow. included with the bag was a mixing guide for fast setting concrete which made it easier for me to prepare the amount of water to use. I suggest setting up as close to the target site as possible when using the mixing bag. I cut the top of the quikrete bag open, covered it with the mixing bag, turned it upside down and dumped the contents into the mixing bag which limited the amount of dust from the quikrete bag. poured the water in, twisted the bag and locked it using the included velcro strip and moved the bag back and forth until the quikrete looked ready. moved the bag to the edge of the post hole and poured the contents into the hole. easy-peasy. well, easy-peasy but for the weight of the quikrete bag and trying to mix it in the mixing bag. but, for a small project it was simple, easy to use and I didn't have to mix the quikrete in the wheelbarrow and deal with cleaning up the mess. certainly, the minimal dust released when emptying the quikrete bag was a plus. hosed down the bag, shook off as much of the water as possible, hung the bag upside down on a rack in my garage to dry off and will fold it up and store it for future use. the mixing bag worked for me and my one-off mailbox project. recommend using it for anyone with simple projects who do not want the complications of mixing, pouring and cleaning the tools and wheelbarrow.

Great way to mix small batches of concrete
The first bag I received had a flaw in the bottom seam and starting leaking right away, however the seller PROMPTLY replaced it. I used it to mix 18 60# bags of concrete for setting fence posts. A lot easier than using a wheelbarrow and hoe, especially when working in a confined space. No messy equipment to clean up after the job is done. Just toss the bag or even wash it out and save for a future project. I will definitely order again the next time I do a concrete project.
