Great for a college kid
We bought this laptop more than 2 years ago for our daughter in University. She travels with it to school and back home on school break. She has had no issues even after she dropped it. between school assignments and casual gaming it suits her fine. She has never complained about it being slow or anything like that. Good value.

This is an awesome laptop for simple no frills home use!
My only true complaint are the keys, the letters are hard to see if you are not working under good bright light. Someone mentioned that the keys are loud. Granted they are not like my laptop at work that makes no sound, but they don't sound like a clumpy typewriter or cheap keyboard.I have never been able to quite figure out how to multitask an a laptop, but this one almost does it for you, and I absolutely love that. I also love that it connected to my phone with no hiccups whatsoever. I can be video chatting on my laptop, have a message come through on the phone and answer the message on the laptop and never skip a beat. I also enjoy that without being touchscreen, it has and can download apps without feeling like a laptop. This is a good fast computer for the price. I would recommend it highly to anyone that is not super high-tech ( not sure if it's a gaming laptop) and looking for a nice home laptop

it has a large screen but no frills
my expensive HP Spectre that I loved broke. A design flaw with its C charging port that is unfixable! ugh. I am soured now on the notion of spending that much again. I bought this because it is still am HP but less than $400. Plus, it doesn’t charge via a C port. It seems quick enough but the keyboard is pretty blah, not backlit, not colored…and keys are configured a bit awkward Compared to my Spectre. Display is larger than I like and it is not a touchscreen nor does it come with a mouse. You can plug one in however. Some may love a big screen for watching shows but I am just used to a smaller and more portable unit. This will not fit in my purse so I probably won’t be toting it everywhere. It is thin and lightweight, just big. I am looking for a smaller replacement now but, I want to use it a bit longer to see if I can get used to it.

Works great for home use!!
My old HP laptop died (after12 years) - it was an i-5 that I used when working from home. So, after retiring and some research, I decided I didn’t need a lot of hard drive nor speed so I “settled” for this laptop.I was wrong. This new one with double the ram I had is faster and works very well for what I use it for. Most things I do are internet based (google docs/sheets rather than Word or Excel), etc so this is just right for me.Easy to get set up , Windows 11 is great just a bit different. I’m 76 and had no issues in getting it set up and running !!

touchpad and keyboard letters
Computer works OK but occasion problems with touchpad. Faulty from the beginning but that can happen with computers and are difficult to prevent, what is more annoying is the letters on the keyboard are very faded after less than a year of moderate use. That is a poor quality issue from HP, easily preventable and fixable for very little cost

Stopped working after 4 months of barely using it
Absolutely not worth buying. Stopped working after only 4 months of barely using it. Was opening the lap top only for 2-3 hours a day to get some spreadsheets in order so it was serving me as replacement for all the paperwork in my office. Nothing else. No water was even near it, no overheat… not even dust. It just won’t turn on completely dead. And I’m good with tech, this one has completely overwhelmed me.I’ve got in touch with the seller he said basically that’s not his problem and o should contact HP directly as I still have my 1 year warranty.HP said that the factory warranty has expired I’m not even sure what that suppose to mean since j bought only 4 months ago.. what is have to do of when it was manufactured ?!Seller offered 0 support on it, so I just thought to warn you guys that this is just not worth wasting your time on.

Great for streaming and light gaming
Pretty fast for the price. Works great for modded Stardew Valley. Looks really clean and is very light weight. Had it for a month and no issues can handle work and streaming easily as well just gotta turn off S mode. It doesn't have touch screen which I didnt want anyways so no big deal.

Esta Laptop la compre para mi hija que esta en la universidad hasta el momento de esta opinión no a tenido ningún problema. Lo que le gustó mucho es el rendimiento de la batería
