Exceptionally Easy Installation
This fan works perfectly for my application. After prepping the rough opening, it took about 30 minutes to install. The most important advise I can offer is that when doing the rough in that you cut your opening to the specs for you particular model as per the instruction manual. If the opening is too tight it may cause the louvers to bind up and not close properly. I mounted mine from the inside so that the louvers would be flush on the outside of the building. I chose to purchase and use the ILG8SFRC Exhaust Fan Remote Control Kit. it has a built in variable speed control, temp control setting, and humidistat. Very convenient to be able to control operation from a very advanced remote. I'll include a short video on simple installation. Note: a pigtail for the fan is included with the remote control kit (sold separately). Update: install complete with remote control. Excellent product. Simple install and eliminates the need for separate humidistat, temp, and speed control.

Decent quality materials and manufacture. Highly recommend it.
I use this exhaust fan to ventilate a small barn in the back yard where I keep all my yard equipment. The barn is 12 x 16 with 8 foot walls and a gable roof. In the past, I have had a problem with white mold forming on some of the wood stored in the barn, but no more. I have the fan on a timer and it runs about 6 hours a day. We get a lot of rain and even though the barn floor is elevated above the ground about a foot, mold would form during periods of wet weather. The fan seems to take care of the issue. The fan is mounted just above floor level to pull cool damp air out of the barn and let warmer dry air come in through the roof vents. The fan is well built, quiet, of surprisingly good quality with a shutter system that actually works.

Well made, excellent price point . . .
I bought this for a cooling fan in my new chicken coop (blowing air INTO the coop). It's well made, so framing it in was a very simple. The noise level is acceptable. The louvers are opened by the force of air, and thus close via gravity when the fan turns off. I did purchase the iLiving Fan Remote Control unit with this, which thus far is working exceptionally well. As this model fan is capable of variable speeds, the Remote controller can program the fan to turn on at any temperature that I choose, as well as regulate the fan speed when the temperature setpoint is very close to the desired value. So far, both the fan and the Remote Controller have been worth very penny.

Pretty decent for the price
Purchased 2 10” variable speed fans for moisture issues I’ve been having in my garage due to having a lower lot line than the surrounding houses and excessive amounts of rain. Although having done my best to abate water issues entering the garage from the exterior of my garage, ambient moisture and heavy rains still left me in need of a solution to attempt to circulate the air with my garage door closed. Hopefully the 2 fans will do what’s needed to prevent anything from rusting further. I removed the louvers since the fans were going to be mounted directly to the plywood via a wooden frame I made. They were also being mounted on an angle, parallel to the roof and exhausting through the roof vents installed by the previous homeowner. It definitely wasn’t the easiet route to take but I was limited by time and options for cutting a new hole in my siding. Once the fans were hung, wiring was a breeze aside from the grounding screw being impossible to break loose with a socket or a flathead screw driver so I used one of the screws for the access cover to ground. Both fans were then wired to a Vari-Speed speed controller that also acts as the on off switch. I’m in my garage enough that I didn’t see a need for a humidistat. So far so good. A little bit of rain and humid 50-60 degree days, dipping into the 40’s overnight. I will update with pictures once more run time is in but decent fans for a decent price.

Works great!
Installed at a 17 degree incline and it works great. Louvers open and close properly when being turned on and off. Seems to move a decent amount air. Not super quiet, but that is too be expected for this type of fan. Hopefully it has good longevity.

Connect wire with WAGO connectors not wire nuts
Ok it’s pretty good. I actually had another and it failed after 3 years. But after getting into the attic and replacing it might have been from the roof replacement and so much debris that came form that. Also very important don’t use wire nuts. Get some of those wago wire connectors. Trying to twist that stringy wire around a solid romex is not easy and could lead to a loose connection if you’re not a pro.

moves a ton of air and runs quiet
Installed this in my garage to help with ventilation during the summer and it moves a serious amount of air for a 10 inch fan. The automatic shutter is a nice touch so you do not have to think about it when the fan is off, it just closes on its own. Build quality is noticeably better than I expected at this price point and the variable speed dial is actually useful for dialing in the right airflow.

Owned for a year
I have been running this fan almost constantly for one year now to vent out my garage to avoid humidity and it works great ! Nice and smooth and if it fails, it's cheap and I'll just throw another one in. Looking to also put one in my attic to vent out the heat in the summer.

Maybe a little pricey but it works great! Moves a lot of air and is by far the quietest of this type of fan I've ever heard (or not heard :). I'm using it in a custom sound deadening generator enclosure to exhaust the exhaust and bring in fresh air. Will have to wait to see how durable it is over time but it looks to be built very well.

Good quality, high air flow for a 10" fan
Very easy install using the included template, I use this on a generator shed that houses an 8000 watt generator for when we have power outages. It kept the generator and shed interior quite cool during a 4 hour power outage and that included the custom exhaust breaking on the generator so it was able to not only keep the generator cool but keep a good supply of fresh air flowing into the generator. I cannot comment on how quiet it is as it only runs when the generator is running so it is not heard. Overall I am very pleased with the unit

Had to adjust the screws like I was tuning the spokes on a bicycle tire
Had to adjust the screws like I was tuning the spokes on a bicycle tire. Apparently the face of the structure was not a flat plane. This freed up the louvers so it would function properly. Low noise operation, works fantastic with ILG8SFSC speed controller. These are very good products.

Solide
Très bonne qualité, fonctionne très bien, un peu bruyant même à vitesse réduite mais fait très bien le travail. Je le recommande.
