## Overview

The IQ120 BBQ Temperature Regulator Kit transforms your Pit Barrel Cooker into a high-tech, precision-controlled smoker. Featuring a digital dual-temp display, 12 programmable settings, and up to 12 hours of steady temperature control on one charcoal load, it ensures juicy, tender BBQ every time. Designed for effortless use with a rotary encoder knob and complete with all necessary accessories, this kit is the ultimate upgrade for serious outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

## Description

The IQ120 connects to nearly any charcoal or wood fueled barbecue pit. Here's the amazing part: You set the cooking temperature on the dial and it then regulates the cooking temperature just like a kitchen oven does. In fact, it regulates the cooking temperature BETTER than most kitchen ovens! And better than a kitchen oven, your foods cook in a smoky environment that is naturally moist resulting in foods that are juicy, fall-off-the-bone tender, and simply delicious. The IQ120 hangs from the Pit Barrel Cooker's hanging rods. The included Stainless Steel Pit Adapter is custom fit for the Pit Barrel Cooker and replaces the Pit Barrel Cooker's factory air inlet damper. The IQ120's air hose is then connected to the air adapter. Finally, the temperature sensor is attached to the cooking grate and plugged into the IQ120. The only thing left is to get hungry! Includes IQ110 Blower Box, Heavy Duty Rubber Air Tube, AC Power Supply, 6' Smoker Temperature Probe, 6' Food Temperature Probe, User Guide, and Custom Fit Stainless Steel Pit Barrel Cooker Adapter.

Review: Great buy - So far so good. Keeps temperature steady. Best way to use is to start your fire In the barrel and let the device bring it up to temp for you. I’m impressed and can’t wait to smoke a Turkey on it for Thanksgiving. Super easy set up. Easy to control.
Review: Game Changer - The temp regulator was an absolute game changer. The unit really takes the guess work out of temperature control and I am saving a noticeable amount of charcoal using IQ120.

## Features

- Allows precision temperature control on the Pit Barrel Cooker. As seen on Good Eats "Right on Que". Alton Brown said: "It's so cool!!"
- Digital display indicates actual cooking temperature and food temperature too! Knob is actually a digital encoder - rotate to select parameters or change values from user friendly interface, click to select. So much easier than a keypad!
- Keeps the Pit Barrel Cooker temperature steady for up to 12 hours on one load of charcoal!
- Programmable - automatically change cooking temp based on food temp, or based on a time delay! Set alarms to indicate food is done cooking or cooking temperature is out of range. 12 settable parameters in all! A large bi-color "cheat sheet" on the back lists all parameters and provides a short reminder of what it does. So easy yet so powerful!
- Everything included (except Pit Barrel Cooker) in kit for operation from AC power; 12VDC cigarette lighter power cord available separately.

*by A***R on November 13, 2017*

Others seem to have no problem controlling the Pit Barrel, but I live in a windy area and the IQ 120 allows me to set and forget the temperature. If you need help with your PBC this is a well made and easy to use accessory.
