Before you screw up your ride with expensive leveling and lift kits, put a pair of these cool shocks on. I recommend taking a ratchet strap and cutting off the strap and then cutting off the hook on the remaining strap. So you just have the ratchet and the strap (no hooks). Then tie the strap back onto the ratchet and bingo you have a hookless strap that you can tighten up the shock with. In my rig it was even easy to install the strap after the shock was attached to the upper bolts. Compress the shock and install the lower bolt, then remove the strap. If you have your truck properly jacked up, you only need to compress 1/2 inch or less. Makes it safer and easier. If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it. Shocks are great, look good, ride good. It's a stiffer ride, but it's on a truck. I love them and the price is very reasonable.
