Bun mom of 15+ years. I’ve had many rabbit sin my care, worked at an animal shelter, and a vet. I’ve been using Oxbow for years and they are one of the most trustworthy and quality hay brands for my buns. I now foster rabbits. The first litter I raised grew up on oxbow. Mama just had her last litter (she came to me with one litter born and apparently another on the way) and they will also grow up on Oxbow. I’ve never had an issue with freshness. The hay comes in genuinely dry and dust free with perfectly long strands. I have a spare 13g trashcan with a lid. I just drop a big 90oz bag in there to keep the pets out of the main supply. Smaller bags are closed away too. My rabbits love it so much they prefer to eat straight out of the bag instead of the open boxes or hay feeders I use. Worth the extra few dollars and can usually be found at local farm stores or pet stores in bulk if I can’t get it shipped fast enough.

My rabbit loves this hay! It comes well packaged, with a fresh, natural smell. The strands are long, green and crisp, just as they should be. It does not bring excessive dust or dry or brown parts. Since I use it, I have noticed that my rabbit eats more enthusiastically and has better digestion. I will continue to buy it without a doubt!

Although hay is not necessary for mice as it is with some small pets and if given to them, doesn't make up a big part of their diet, my mice enjoy having a little bit of this hay each day. Mice in the wild nibble on grass, leaves, stalks, etc., so this meadow hay is a nice natural addition to their diet. They also enjoy playing with it and using some of the softer stalks in their bed.Organic mouse food is not available, so I make all the food for my mice. They have a 100% organic diet. It takes extra time making everything and being sure they get all the right amounts of vitamins and nutrition, but it's so worth it for them, so that they aren't exposed to genetically modified food or pesticide residues. This organic meadow hay is a wonderful, healthy addition to their diet and fun for them, too.I am very pleased with the quality of this hay...when I opened the bag, it smelled fresh and there was no moldiness or moisture. It says on the bag, the hay is hand-selected by the owner. I hope the company, Oxbow, will continue with this organic hay and expand their organic line even more.

I love this hay for the fact that it is organic for one thing, but also we are dangerously allergic to timothy hay. This was a fantastic product for those who have dangerously bad allergies to hay. There are no grass pods. The only problem that I have with it is that like the other reviews also state... The hay is different every single bag, some is harder, thick, and long, while other bags the hay is fine/very thin, and short. In the bags with the fine hay normally there is 1/4 of a bag that is more dust like. However, I don't have that picky of guinea pigs, and at first they had a hard time with it, but after a while they grew to love it both fine and thick. I just mix both bags together to give them a verity of textures.

Our rabbits only enjoy Oxbow hay and treats. Hay is essential for good rabbit health. This hay is best. You should have hay available at all times for your rabbit. Even if they don't eat alot of hay each day, it's important to have a high quality hay for their good digestive health. I recommend Oxbow products for all of our rabbits. This hay is a great value on Amazon. And by purchasing the smaller sized bags, I am able to mix and match different varieties of may for our rabbit's diet. Thank you.

My piggies love this hay, and can't get enough. It's a treat, but one they can get more often than most. It helps to calm them on cage cleaning day, and when it's spa day (nail trimming, and hair cut time). It shouldn't be fed daily, but can be given once or twice a week.

My bunnies say “Good stuff!” Nice appearance and smells “fresh”. I wish they offered a larger size.

I bought this hay for the first time recently and my guinea pigs seem to like it. They are very fussy about what hay they will eat and had previously ignored every single other type that Oxbow make, plus several other brands, but they enjoy munching on this. It's nice & green (as good quality grass hay should be) with a pleasant smell and even though the bag is small it lasts a long time as the hay is very compressed inside. The resealable fastening at the top of the bag is a bit hard to close when it's first opened because they cram so much in, but as it gets less full it's really easy. I would recommend it :-)

同ブランドの牧草を色々試してみましたが、中でも群を抜いてこちらを食べていたので定期便にしています。届くものによってまちまちですが、たいてい細めで薄い葉が多く、茎部分は少なめな印象です。以前は牧草はこちらのみあげていましたが、硬いものも食べた方が歯には良いのかなと考え、ジェックスのプレミアムチモシーも一緒に与えるようになりました。牧草のみだとうんちが小さめになるので（食べてはいますが）、チモシーのきわみを補助牧草のような感じで少量与えています。

My first time purchasing the Meadow hays for my chinchillas, I mix them with the timothy hays, and I think they like it. Condition of the hays that I received was very good, green and fresh.

Seemed good ands smelled lovely but my fussy bunnies weren't keen. Not as stalky as Botanical but too coarse for my softies I think.
