The author addresses these locations thoroughly and in an approachable fashion, but I was looking for a more detailed discussion of flies, leaders, and casting than is included in this book. I'd look at as more of a travel and planning resource than a technical resource, and if that's what you're looking for then by all means pick it up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great resource - needs updating. *by M***J on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2015* I read and used the book as prep for my recent September 2015 trip to Abaco. Book is a great resource. You get a feeling that there is a very good chance the author really enjoys fishing and wants to share info and help others, but it has been written very long time ago and even the supposedly updated version (which i bought for my Kindle) is at many occasions inaccurate. This book gave me bare essentials to what mattered in bone fish fishing and Chico's elaborated it. I recommend having both books if you have never bone fished. Maybe just this one if your already experienced with bone fishing. There are so many little subtle things you need to see and feel when fishing to be successful. You just can't get lucky with bonefish. You really need some knowledge to find them..see them... hook them and even fighting them entails special knowledge.
