It does certainly seem to work so I am going to continue. You only need very very little, literally a few drops in a carton of water (2 litres). This bottle will therefore last absolutely ages. Worth noting however, that the addition of silicon increases the pH of the water, to a level not enjoyed by many plants since most tropical plants prefer a pH around the 5.5/6 mark. I counter this increase by adding several drops of white vinegar. This lowers the pH back down to a suitable level for my plants, and I just use those litmus paper strips to test the pH of the solution before using.
